Setup Instructions
- Install Batteries: Open the battery compartment located on the underside of the scale. Insert the two included AAA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-). Close the battery compartment securely.
- Select Measurement Unit: On the underside of the scale, locate the unit conversion switch. Press this button to cycle through the available measurement units: pounds (lb), kilograms (kg), or stones (st). Select your preferred unit before first use.
- Placement: Place the scale on a hard, flat, and stable surface. Avoid carpets or uneven flooring, as this can lead to inaccurate readings.

Operating Instructions
The SmartHeart Veridian Digital Floor Scale features an auto-on sensor for convenient use.
- Ensure the scale is placed on a hard, flat surface.
- Gently step onto the center of the scale platform. The scale will automatically power on.
- Stand still on the scale. Your weight measurement will appear on the digital display within moments.
- Step off the scale. The display will hold the reading for a few seconds before automatically turning off to conserve battery life.

Care and Maintenance
- Cleaning: The tempered glass platform is easy to clean. Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth and a mild cleaning agent. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals.
- Storage: Store the scale in a cool, dry place. Avoid storing it vertically or in areas with high humidity.
- Battery Replacement: If the display becomes dim or shows an error message related to low battery, replace both AAA batteries with new ones.
