Accurate measurement depends on correct cuff placement. Follow these steps:
- Wrap the cuff: Wrap the cuff around your upper left arm, ensuring it is aligned with your heart.
- Leave some space: Ensure there is approximately 2 fingers' width of space between your arm and the cuff.
- Position above elbow: Keep the cuff 0.8-1.2 inches (2-3 cm) above the elbow.
- Relax and measure: Calm down, rest your arm, and press the START button to begin measurement.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Cleaning the Device and Cuff
The blood pressure cuff is made of high-quality, dust-resistant material and is easy to clean. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the main unit. For the cuff, gently wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap if necessary, then air dry completely before storage. Do not immerse the device or cuff in water.
5. Troubleshooting
Why Inaccurate Readings?
Timely detection of incorrect use can prevent inaccurate readings. Common reasons for inaccurate readings include:
- The cuff is too tight or too loose.
- Incorrect position for blood pressure measurement.
- Emotional instability during blood pressure measurement, not resting after strenuous exercise, talking while measuring blood pressure, etc.
- Do not squeeze any blood vessels on the body during measurement.
- When the electronic blood pressure monitor has insufficient power (replace the battery or use the USB cable).
