6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Powering On

Once the power adapter is connected, the camera will power on automatically. The power indicator light on the rear panel will illuminate.

6.2 Accessing the OSD Menu

The On-Screen Display (OSD) menu allows you to configure various camera settings. To access the OSD menu, press the 'OSD' button on the rear panel. Use the directional controls (usually by pushing and tilting the OSD button) to navigate through the menu options and confirm selections.

Important Note: Some users have reported issues with SDI output not working until the frame rate is adjusted in the OSD menu. If you experience no SDI signal, connect the camera via the CVBS output to a composite video input on a TV or monitor to access the OSD menu. Navigate to the 'System' submenu and change the 'Frame Rate' from 1080_60P to 1080_60I or a lower compatible resolution (e.g., 1080p 30Hz) for your SDI receiver.

6.3 Basic Menu Navigation (Blind Operation)

In situations where you cannot see the OSD menu (e.g., no signal on SDI/CVBS), you may attempt to change settings blindly using a known button sequence. This sequence is provided as a last resort and may vary slightly. The following sequence is reported to change the resolution to a more compatible setting:

Push → Up → Up → Push → Down → Down → Down → Right (x2 or more)

Ensure at least a 1-second delay between each button press. This sequence is for changing resolution settings and may not apply to all menu structures.

6.4 Image Settings

Within the OSD menu, you can adjust various image parameters:
