5. Setup and Installation

The SNIXWOO Running Boards are designed for easy, no-drilling installation, utilizing original vehicle mounting points. While installation is straightforward, professional installation is highly recommended for optimal results and safety.

5.1 Before You Begin

  • Park your vehicle on a flat, level surface.
  • Engage the parking brake.
  • Gather all necessary tools (e.g., wrenches, sockets).
  • Inspect the vehicle's undercarriage for existing mounting points.

5.2 Installation Steps

  1. Identify Mounting Points: Locate the factory mounting holes on the vehicle's chassis beneath the rocker panels. These boards are designed for 1:1 original car mold opening.
  2. Close-up view of the original hole mounting point for easy, no-drilling installation of SNIXWOO Running Boards.

  5. Mount Running Boards: Carefully lift each running board and align it with the installed brackets. Attach the running boards to the brackets using the remaining hardware.
  6. Adjust and Tighten: Once both running boards are loosely attached, adjust their position to ensure proper alignment and clearance. Once satisfied with the positioning, fully tighten all bolts to the manufacturer's recommended torque specifications (if available, otherwise ensure they are very secure).
  7. Final Check: Double-check all connections to ensure they are tight and secure. Gently test the stability of the running boards before regular use.
