3. Setup

Package Contents

Before installation, ensure all items are present in the package:

Installation

  1. Mount the Base: Attach the base with clips to your helmet. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  2. Attach the Headset: Slide the BT-57 main unit onto the mounted base until it clicks into place.
  3. Install Speakers and Microphone: Place the speakers inside the helmet's ear pockets using the provided Velcro pads. Position the microphone near your mouth for clear communication. Connect the speaker cable to the 3.5mm speaker interface on the main unit.

Charging the Device

Before first use, fully charge the BT-57 headset.

  1. Connect the USB charging cable to the USB charging port on the headset.
  2. Connect the other end of the cable to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port.
  3. The battery indicator lights will show charging status. A full charge takes approximately 5 hours.

4. Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

  • Power On: Press the power button once. The device will power on and the battery indicator lights will illuminate.
  • Power Off: Press and hold the power button for a few seconds until the lights turn off.

Bluetooth Pairing

  1. Ensure the BT-57 is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the power button until the indicator lights flash rapidly, indicating pairing mode.
  3. On your mobile phone or GPS device, enable Bluetooth and search for "BT-57".
  4. Select "BT-57" to connect. Once paired, the indicator lights will slow down or turn solid.
  5. To connect a second phone, repeat the pairing process. The BT-57 supports simultaneous connection to two devices.

Call Management

  • Answer Call: The device supports automatic answering. Alternatively, press the call button once to answer.
  • End Call: Press the call button once during a call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold the call button for 2 seconds.
  • Voice Assistant: Press the voice control button once to activate your phone's voice assistant (e.g., Siri).

Music Playback

  • Play/Pause: Press the call button once to play or pause music.
  • Volume Adjustment: Rotate the volume adjustment knob to increase or decrease the volume.
  • Next/Previous Track: Use the 'A' and 'B' buttons for next/previous track control.

Rear Warning Light

The BT-57 features a rear warning light for increased visibility.

  • Activate/Cycle Modes: Press the power button once to activate the nighttime warning light. Pressing it again will cycle through the three different warning light modes.

5. Maintenance

Cleaning

Wipe the headset with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.

Water Resistance

The BT-57 is IPX6 waterproof, meaning it is protected against high-pressure water jets from any direction. While it can withstand rain and splashes, avoid submerging the device in water.

Storage

Store the device in a cool, dry place when not in use. Avoid extreme temperatures.
