4. Assembly Instructions

Before first use, wash all parts that will come into contact with food in warm soapy water, rinse thoroughly, and dry. Ensure the appliance is unplugged during assembly.

  1. Attach Grinding Head: Insert the grinding head into the motor unit opening. Rotate it counter-clockwise until it locks securely into place.
  2. Insert Auger: Place the auger (feeding screw) into the grinding head, ensuring the shaft end fits into the motor drive.
  3. Position Cutting Blade: Place the cutting blade onto the auger shaft with the sharp edges facing outwards, against where the grinding plate will sit.
  4. Select Grinding Plate: Choose your desired grinding plate (fine, medium, or coarse) and place it over the cutting blade and auger shaft.
  5. Secure with Fixing Ring: Screw the fixing ring onto the grinding head clockwise until it is hand-tight. Do not overtighten.
  6. Attach Feeding Tray: Place the feeding tray onto the top of the grinding head.

5. Operating Instructions

Ensure the appliance is correctly assembled and placed on a stable, flat surface before operation.

  1. Prepare Meat: Cut meat into small pieces (approximately 2-3 cm) that can easily fit into the feeding tray opening. Remove bones, gristle, and excessive fat.
  2. Place Container: Position a suitable container under the grinding head to collect the ground meat.
  3. Connect Power: Plug the appliance into a grounded electrical outlet.
  4. Start Grinding: Turn the control switch to the 'ON' position.
  5. Feed Meat: Place meat pieces onto the feeding tray. Use the food pusher to gently guide the meat into the grinding head. Never use your fingers or any other utensil.
  6. Reverse Function: If the grinder becomes clogged, turn the switch to the 'REV' (Reverse) position. This will rotate the auger in the opposite direction to clear blockages. Once cleared, switch back to 'OFF' then 'ON' to resume grinding.
  7. Stop Operation: After grinding, turn the switch to the 'OFF' position and unplug the appliance from the power outlet.
