1. Important Safety Instructions

Please read this entire instruction manual before using the Dreo Atom 316 Space Heater. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, or serious injury.

• Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
• Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• Do not use outdoors.
• To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable vapors or liquids are used or stored.
• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• This heater includes an Overheat Protection System that automatically shuts off the unit if it overheats. If this occurs, unplug the heater, wait 30 minutes for it to cool down, and then plug it back in.
• The heater is equipped with a Tip-Over Protection Switch that automatically shuts off the unit if it is tipped over. If this occurs, place the heater upright on a flat, level surface.
• This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.

3. Setup

Setting up your Dreo Atom 316 Space Heater is quick and easy.

1. Unpack: Carefully remove the heater and all accessories from the packaging. Retain packaging for future storage if needed.
2. Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) of clear space around the heater from any walls, furniture, or other objects to allow for proper airflow and prevent fire hazards.
3. Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a 220V wall outlet. Do not use extension cords, power strips, or surge protectors.
4. Remote Control Battery: The remote control comes with a CR2 battery pre-installed. Remove any plastic pull tabs from the battery compartment before first use.

4. Operating Instructions

The Dreo Atom 316 Space Heater can be operated using the touch control panel on the top of the unit or the included remote control.

Control Panel & Display:

The top panel features intuitive touch buttons and a clear digital display for current settings.

• Power Button (⏻): Turns the heater ON or OFF.
• Mode Button (☰): Cycles through the 3 heating modes:
  • High Heat (H): 1500W for maximum warmth.
  • Low Heat (L): Reduced wattage for energy saving.
  • ECO Mode (ECO): Automatically adjusts heating power based on ambient temperature to maintain desired comfort level efficiently.
• Temperature Adjustment Buttons (+ / -): Adjusts the target temperature in 1-degree increments. The heater will cycle ON/OFF to maintain this temperature.
• Timer Button (⏷): Sets the auto-off timer from 1 to 12 hours. Each press adds 1 hour.
• Oscillation Button (↻): Activates or deactivates the oscillation function to distribute heat more widely.
• Child Lock Button (🔒): Press and hold for 3 seconds to activate/deactivate the child lock. When active, all other buttons are disabled.

Using the Remote Control:

The remote control provides convenient operation from a distance. Its buttons mirror the functions on the main control panel.

• Power Button (⏻): Turns the heater ON or OFF.
• Mode Button (☰): Cycles through heating modes.
• Temperature Adjustment Buttons (+ / -): Adjusts target temperature.
• Timer Button (⏷): Sets the auto-off timer.
• Oscillation Button (↻): Activates or deactivates oscillation.
• Mute Button (🔇): Mutes/unmutes button press sounds.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater.

Cleaning:

1. Always turn off the heater and unplug it from the power outlet before cleaning.
2. Allow the heater to cool down completely before handling.
3. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
4. Use a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to gently remove dust from the air inlet and outlet grilles.
5. Ensure no water or liquid enters the interior of the heater.
6. Allow the heater to dry completely before plugging it back in and operating.

Storage:

When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place. It is recommended to store it in its original packaging to protect it from dust and damage.
