Setup
1. Battery Installation
The remote control requires one CR2 battery, which is included. To install or replace the battery:
- Locate the battery compartment on the back of the remote control.
- Open the compartment cover.
- Insert the CR2 battery, ensuring the correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
2. Initial Pairing with Floodlight
To ensure the remote control communicates with your NOVOSTELLA floodlight, follow these pairing instructions:
- Ensure your NOVOSTELLA floodlight (NTF93 or NTF94) is powered off.
- Unplug the power cord of the floodlight from the electrical outlet.
- Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet to power on the floodlight.
- Within the first 3 minutes after plugging in the floodlight, press and hold the ON button on the remote control for 5 seconds.
- The floodlight will flash a green light to indicate successful pairing.
If the floodlight does not flash green, repeat the pairing process from step 2.

Button Functions:
- ON / OFF: Power on or off the floodlight.
- R / G / B / W: Select Red, Green, Blue, or White static colors.
- Color Selection Buttons: A grid of 12 buttons to select various preset static colors.
- Brightness Adjustment (Sun icons): Increase or decrease the brightness level of the selected color or mode.
- 3H / 6H: Set a timer for the floodlight to turn off after 3 or 6 hours.
- Speed- / Speed+: Adjust the speed of dynamic lighting modes (e.g., Fade, Strobe).
- Jump: Activates a mode where colors change abruptly.
- Fade: Activates a mode where colors transition smoothly.
- Smooth: Activates a mode with a gradual and continuous color change.
- Strobe: Activates a mode where colors flash rapidly.
- Rainbow: Initiates a dynamic mode cycling through a spectrum of colors.
- Chase: Activates a dynamic mode where colors appear to 'chase' each other.
- Flow: Activates a dynamic mode with a flowing color effect.
- Breath: Activates a mode where colors gently fade in and out.
- Flash: Activates a mode with quick, intermittent flashes of color.
- AUTO: Cycles through various dynamic lighting modes automatically.
Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and proper functioning of your remote control, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Keep the remote control dry. Avoid exposure to moisture or liquids.
- Clean the remote control with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- If the remote control will not be used for an extended period, remove the battery to prevent leakage.
- Store the remote control in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
Remote Control Not Working / Unresponsive
- Check Battery: Ensure the CR2 battery is correctly installed and has sufficient charge. Replace if necessary.
- Re-Pairing: If the remote control stops working or is unresponsive, it may have lost its pairing with the floodlight. Follow the initial pairing instructions detailed in the Setup section: Unplug the floodlight, plug it back in, and within 3 minutes, press and hold the ON button on the remote for 5 seconds until the floodlight flashes green.
- Obstructions: Ensure there are no significant physical obstructions between the remote control and the floodlight that could interfere with the RF signal.
- Distance: Confirm you are within the effective operating range of the remote control (typically up to 40 feet).
