Video: Wiring Example and Operation Demonstration
Video 1: This video demonstrates the wiring process and basic operation of the GEYA ATS (W2R) unit. It shows how to connect power sources and loads, and how the switch responds to power changes.
8. Operating Instructions
The GEYA Mini ATS can operate in both automatic and manual modes.
8.1 Automatic Mode
- Set the "Auto/Manual Mode Switch" to AUTO.
- When normal power supply A is working properly, the A (red light) indicator will be on.
- If normal power supply A becomes abnormal (e.g., power outage, under/over voltage), the A (green light) indicator will go off, and the switch will automatically transfer the load to backup power supply B.
- When normal power supply A recovers, the switch will automatically transfer the load back to power supply A.
8.2 Manual Mode
- Set the "Auto/Manual Mode Switch" to MANUAL.
- To select power supply A, manually operate the red transfer handle towards power supply A. The red light for A will turn on.
- To select power supply B, manually operate the red transfer handle towards power supply B. The red light for B will turn on.
- In manual mode, the switch will not automatically transfer power.

9. Maintenance
The GEYA Mini ATS is designed for reliable operation with minimal maintenance. However, periodic checks are recommended to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Visual Inspection: Regularly inspect the switch for any signs of physical damage, loose connections, or discoloration due to overheating.
- Terminal Tightness: Periodically check and tighten all terminal screws to ensure good electrical contact.
- Cleanliness: Keep the switch free from dust, dirt, and moisture. Use a dry, soft cloth for cleaning.
- Functionality Test: Occasionally test the automatic transfer function by temporarily disconnecting the main power source (if safe to do so) to ensure the switch transfers to the backup source as expected.
10. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your GEYA Mini ATS, consider the following troubleshooting steps:
- No Power Transfer:
- Check if both power sources (A and B) are active and within the specified voltage range (85-110% of rated voltage).
- Ensure the "Auto/Manual Mode Switch" is set to AUTO for automatic operation.
- Verify all wiring connections are secure and correct according to the wiring diagram.
- Check if the current is below 5A, which can cause the coil to malfunction.
- Indicator Lights Not Functioning:
- Confirm that the corresponding power source is active.
- Inspect for loose internal connections (requires professional inspection).
- Overheating:
- Ensure the current is not below 5A.
- Check for loose terminal connections.
- Verify the load does not exceed the rated current of the switch.
