  2. Initial Cleaning: Before first use, clean the cooking basket and pan with warm soapy water. Wipe the exterior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Dry all parts thoroughly.
  3. Placement: Place the air fryer on a stable, flat, heat-resistant surface. Ensure there is at least 10 cm (4 inches) of clear space around the back and sides, and above the appliance for proper ventilation. Do not place it near walls or under cabinets that are sensitive to heat or steam.
  4. Power Connection: Ensure your power outlet voltage matches the voltage specified on the appliance (220 Volts). Plug the power cord into a grounded wall outlet.

Operating Instructions

Basic Operation

  1. Prepare Food: Place the food you wish to cook into the cooking basket. Do not overfill the basket; ensure there is enough space for air circulation.
  2. Insert Basket: Slide the cooking basket firmly back into the air fryer until it clicks into place. The appliance will not operate if the basket is not correctly inserted.
  3. Set Temperature: Use the temperature control knob to select the desired cooking temperature (up to 200°C).

  6. Completion: When the timer reaches zero, the air fryer will emit an audible signal and automatically shut off. Carefully pull out the basket and remove the cooked food.

Using Pre-set Programs

The RAF R.5341 Air Fryer includes several pre-set programs for common dishes:

  • Fries
  • Nuggets
  • Roasted Chicken
  • Pizza
  • Meat
  • Fish
  • Vegetables
  • Dessert

To use a pre-set program, simply select the desired program using the digital control panel. The air fryer will automatically adjust the temperature and time for optimal results. You may still adjust the time or temperature manually if needed.

Cooking Tips

  • Preheating: For best results, preheat the air fryer for 3-5 minutes at the desired temperature before adding food.
  • Oil Usage: While air frying requires little to no oil, a small amount of oil (1-2 tablespoons) can enhance crispiness and flavor for some foods.
  • Shaking/Turning: For even cooking and browning, shake the basket or turn food halfway through the cooking time, especially for smaller items like fries or nuggets.
  • Batch Cooking: If cooking large quantities, cook in smaller batches to ensure even air circulation and optimal results.
  • Doneness: Always ensure food is cooked to a safe internal temperature.

Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning will help maintain the performance and longevity of your air fryer.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the air fryer from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Cleaning the Basket and Pan:
    • Remove the cooking basket and pan.
    • Wash them in warm, soapy water using a non-abrasive sponge.
    • For stubborn food residue, soak the basket and pan in warm soapy water for about 10-15 minutes before cleaning.
    • Rinse thoroughly and dry completely before reassembling or storing.
    • The basket and pan are generally dishwasher safe, but hand washing is recommended to prolong the non-stick coating.
  3. Cleaning the Interior: Wipe the interior of the appliance with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
  4. Cleaning the Exterior: Wipe the exterior surface with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
  5. Heating Element: If necessary, gently clean the heating element with a soft brush to remove any food particles. Ensure the appliance is completely cool and unplugged.
