Series and Parallel Connections
The Redodo Mini battery supports up to 4 batteries in series (4S) and 4 batteries in parallel (4P) for higher voltage or capacity systems. Always ensure batteries are at the same state of charge (SOC) before connecting them in series to prevent imbalance and potential damage. Charge each battery individually to full capacity before making series connections.

Maintenance
- Regularly inspect battery terminals for corrosion or loose connections. Clean as needed.
- Keep the battery clean and dry.
- Avoid exposing the battery to extreme temperatures outside its operating range.
- For long-term storage, charge the battery to 50% State of Charge (SOC) and store in a cool, dry place.
Troubleshooting
- Battery not charging: Ensure the charger is correctly connected and powered. Check the charger's LED indicator. Verify battery terminals are clean and secure.
- Battery not providing power: Check all connections for tightness and correct polarity. Ensure the battery is sufficiently charged. The BMS may have activated a protection mode (e.g., over-discharge, over-current); remove the load and attempt to recharge.
- BMS protection activated: If the battery stops functioning, the BMS may have triggered a protection. Disconnect the load and/or charger, wait a few minutes, and then attempt to reconnect. Some chargers have a "wake-up" feature for deeply discharged LiFePO4 batteries.
Safety Information
- Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and gloves when handling batteries.
- Do not short-circuit the battery terminals.
- Use only chargers specifically designed for LiFePO4 batteries.
- Do not disassemble, puncture, or damage the battery.
- Keep the battery away from heat sources, open flames, and flammable materials.
- In case of fire, use a Class D fire extinguisher. Water can exacerbate lithium battery fires.
- Keep out of reach of children.
