Introduction

The DUKWIN Watch Winder YR22C-066-BK-US is designed to keep your automatic watches wound and ready for use. Featuring a high-gloss piano finish and a quiet motor, this winder offers six winding places and additional storage for five watches, plus a jewelry drawer. It incorporates multiple rotation modes to suit various automatic watch requirements and includes built-in illumination and a security lock.

Setup Instructions

1. Unpack the Winder: Carefully remove the watch winder from its packaging. Ensure all components, including the AC power adapter, key, and user manual, are present.
2. Placement: Place the watch winder on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, moisture, and strong magnetic fields.
3. Power Connection: Connect the provided AC power adapter to the DC 5.0V/1A input port on the back of the winder. Plug the adapter into a standard electrical outlet.
4. Insert Watches:
   • Gently compress the retractable spring watch pillow and place your automatic watch onto it. The pillow accommodates watch bands from 110-200mm and watch diameters up to 60mm.
   • Insert the watch-mounted pillow into one of the six winding slots. Ensure the watch is securely seated.
   • For additional watches, place them on the five static watch holders located below the winding slots.
5. Jewelry Storage: The bottom drawer provides additional storage for jewelry or other small accessories.
6. Security Lock: Use the provided key to lock the winder door for added security.

Operating Instructions

The DUKWIN Watch Winder features four distinct rotation modes to ensure optimal winding for various automatic watch movements. Each winding unit operates independently.

Rotation Modes:

• Mode 1: Rotates clockwise for 2 minutes, then rests for 6 minutes. Repeats cycle.
• Mode 2: Rotates counter-clockwise for 2 minutes, then rests for 6 minutes. Repeats cycle.
• Mode 3: Rotates clockwise for 2 minutes, rests for 6 minutes, then rotates counter-clockwise for 2 minutes, rests for 6 minutes. Repeats cycle.
• Mode 4: Rotates clockwise for 5 minutes, then counter-clockwise for 5 minutes. Repeats this sequence for 3 hours, then rests for 9 hours. Repeats cycle.

To select a mode for each winding unit, use the corresponding control knob located below each pair of winding slots. Rotate the knob to the desired mode setting.

Internal Illumination:

The winder includes built-in white LED illumination. The light can be controlled via a switch, typically located on the back or inside the unit, to highlight your watches.

Maintenance

• Cleaning the Exterior: Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the high-gloss piano finish. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that may damage the surface.
• Interior Care: Periodically dust the interior with a soft brush or cloth to prevent dust accumulation on watches and internal components.
• Watch Pillows: The watch pillows can be wiped with a slightly damp cloth if necessary, then allowed to air dry completely before re-inserting watches.
• Avoid Overloading: Do not place watches heavier than recommended on the winding pillows to prevent strain on the motor.

Troubleshooting

• Winder Not Operating:
  • Ensure the power adapter is securely plugged into both the winder and a working electrical outlet.
  • Check if the power switch on the back of the unit is in the 'ON' position.
• Watch Not Winding:
  • Verify that the watch is an automatic mechanical watch. Quartz watches do not require winding.
  • Ensure the watch is correctly seated on the pillow and the pillow is properly inserted into the winding slot.
  • Confirm that the selected rotation mode is appropriate for your watch's movement. Consult your watch's manufacturer for specific winding requirements (Turns Per Day - TPD and direction).
• Unusual Noise:
  • While the winder is designed for quiet operation, slight motor sounds are normal. If you notice excessive or unusual noise, ensure the winder is on a stable surface and nothing is obstructing the rotating parts.
  • If the noise persists, contact customer support for assistance.
• Internal Light Not Working:
  • Check the light switch, usually located on the back or inside the unit, to ensure it is in the 'ON' position.
  • Ensure the winder is receiving power.
