Setup
Battery Installation
- Locate the battery compartment cover on the back of the BEETECH B-M2 Moisture Meter.
- Slide the battery compartment cover downwards to open it.
- Connect the included 9V battery to the battery connector inside the compartment, ensuring correct polarity.
- Carefully place the battery into the compartment and slide the cover back into place until it clicks securely.

Operating Instructions

Powering On/Off
- Press the Power button (U-shaped arrow icon) to turn the meter on.
- The meter will automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery life.
Selecting Material Mode
- Press the MODE button to cycle through the available material types: Wood and Building Materials.
- The selected mode will be indicated on the LCD display. Ensure the correct mode is chosen for accurate measurements.
Taking a Measurement
- After selecting the appropriate material mode, firmly press the electrode pins into the material you wish to measure. Ensure good contact.
- The moisture content will be displayed digitally as a percentage (%) and also indicated on the analog bar graph.
- The ambient temperature will also be displayed simultaneously.

Using MAX/MIN Function
- Press the MAX/MIN button to view the maximum or minimum moisture reading recorded during a measurement session.
- Press again to cycle between MAX, MIN, and current reading.
Backlight Control
- Press the Backlight button (light bulb icon) to turn the LCD backlight on or off, improving visibility in low-light conditions.
Maintenance
Electrode Replacement
The electrode pins are replaceable. If the pins become dull, bent, or damaged, they should be replaced to ensure accurate readings. Replacement electrodes (10mm length) are not included with the meter and must be purchased separately from authorized BEETECH dealers.
Cleaning and Storage
