• Fuel: Use a fresh mixture of unleaded gasoline and high-quality 2-stroke engine oil at the ratio specified in your separate engine manual (typically 50:1). Fill the fuel tank, avoiding overfilling.
• Chain Oil: Fill the chain oil reservoir with good quality bar and chain oil. The chainsaw features an automatic adjustable oiller to match cutting conditions, ensuring proper lubrication during operation.

4. Operating the Chainsaw

4.1 Starting the Engine

The Echo CS-4010-18 features an i-30™ starting system designed for easy starting. Always ensure the chain brake is engaged before attempting to start the engine.

2. Engage the chain brake by pushing the front hand guard forward.
