General Safety
- Always unplug the appliance from the power outlet when not in use, before assembling or disassembling parts, and before cleaning.
- Keep hands and utensils out of the chopping bowl while processing food to reduce the risk of severe injury to persons or damage to the chopper.
- Do not use the appliance for anything other than its intended use.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
- Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
- Avoid contact with moving parts.
- Do not immerse the motor unit in water or any other liquid. Clean with a damp cloth only.
Electrical Safety
- Check that the voltage indicated on the appliance corresponds to the local mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
- Do not use the appliance if the power cord, plug, or other parts are damaged. Contact an authorized service center for repair.
- Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.

3. Before First Use
Unpacking and Initial Cleaning
- Carefully remove all packaging materials and promotional labels from the appliance.
- Wash the chopping bowl, lid, and QuadBlade™ assembly in warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and dry all parts. These parts are also dishwasher safe.
- Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the motor unit in water.
4. Assembly and Operation
Assembling Your Chopper
- Place the anti-slip base on a clean, flat, and stable surface.
- Place the chopping bowl onto the anti-slip base.
- Carefully place the QuadBlade™ assembly onto the central pin inside the chopping bowl. Ensure it sits securely.
- Add your ingredients to the chopping bowl. Do not overfill (maximum capacity 0.5L).
- Place the lid onto the chopping bowl, aligning the tabs.
- Position the motor unit on top of the lid, ensuring it locks into place.

Operating the Chopper
The Braun MultiPractic 3 features two speeds and a simple one-push control for effortless processing.
Preparing Ingredients
- Cut larger ingredients into smaller, uniform pieces (approx. 2-3 cm) before placing them in the chopping bowl.
- For best results, do not overload the bowl. Process in batches if necessary.
Chopping/Blending
- Plug the appliance into a power outlet.
- Press down on the top of the motor unit to activate the chopper.
- For Speed 1, press gently. For Speed 2 (higher speed/power boost), press down firmly.
- Pulse for coarse chopping or hold down for finer results.
- Release pressure to stop the appliance.

Ice Crushing Function
The powerful motor and QuadBlade™ technology allow for efficient ice crushing.
- Place ice cubes into the chopping bowl. Do not exceed the MAX fill line.
- Assemble the chopper as described above.
- Use the higher speed (Speed 2) and pulse in short bursts until the desired ice consistency is achieved.

5. Cleaning and Maintenance
Cleaning Instructions
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
- The chopping bowl, lid, and QuadBlade™ assembly are dishwasher safe. For best results, rinse immediately after use.
- Alternatively, wash these parts by hand in warm, soapy water. Use a brush for thorough cleaning of the blades, exercising extreme caution as blades are very sharp.
- Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth. Do not immerse it in water or place it in the dishwasher.
- Ensure all parts are completely dry before reassembling or storing.
Storage
The chopper features a convenient cable organizer to keep your kitchen tidy.
- Wrap the power cord around the designated area on the base of the motor unit for neat storage.
- Store the assembled chopper in a dry, safe place, out of reach of children.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues with your Braun MultiPractic 3 Food Chopper, refer to the table below for common problems and solutions.
