Introduction
This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of your Acer Nitro XV275K P3 27-inch 4K UHD 160Hz Gaming Monitor. Please read this manual thoroughly before using your monitor to ensure optimal performance and to prevent damage.
Setup
1. Unboxing and Assembly
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. The package typically includes the monitor panel, a triangular display bracket (stand), power supply, power cord, HDMI cable, and DisplayPort (DP) cable.

To assemble the stand, locate the lock at the bottom of the stand base. Turn the lock, then align the bracket with the mounting area on the back of the monitor. Secure the bracket by re-engaging the lock. Ensure the stand is firmly attached before placing the monitor on a flat surface.
Alternatively, the monitor supports VESA wall mounting (70x70mm). If using a VESA mount, ensure it is compatible with the monitor's weight and mounting pattern.
2. Connecting the Monitor
Connect the monitor to your computer or other devices using the appropriate cables. The monitor provides a variety of input and output ports:
- HDMI Ports: 2 x HDMI 2.1
- DisplayPort: 1 x DisplayPort 1.4
- USB Type-C: 1 x USB Type-C (supports 90W power delivery)
- USB Ports: 2 x USB 3.0 (downstream), 1 x USB Type-B (upstream)
- Audio: 1 x 3.5mm Headphone Jack
After connecting the necessary cables, use the included cable cover shell to manage and conceal the cables for a tidy setup.
3. Power Connection
Connect the power cord to the monitor's power input and then to a power outlet. Press the power button, usually located on the bottom right side of the monitor, to turn it on.
Operating the Monitor

Maintenance
1. Cleaning the Monitor
To clean the monitor screen, gently wipe it with a soft, lint-free cloth. For stubborn marks, lightly dampen the cloth with water or a specialized screen cleaner. Avoid using harsh chemicals, abrasive cleaners, or spraying liquids directly onto the screen.
Clean the monitor casing with a soft, dry cloth. Ensure the monitor is powered off and unplugged before cleaning.
2. Storage
When storing the monitor for an extended period, ensure it is powered off, unplugged, and stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. It is recommended to use the original packaging for protection during storage or transport.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your monitor, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
- No Display/Black Screen: Ensure all cables (power, HDMI/DP/USB-C) are securely connected. Verify the monitor is powered on and the correct input source is selected in the OSD.
- Image Quality Issues (e.g., Flickering, Distorted Colors): Check cable connections. Adjust display settings in the OSD, such as resolution, refresh rate, and color profiles. Ensure your graphics card drivers are up to date.
- Dead Pixels: A small number of non-functioning pixels is common in LCD technology and may not indicate a defect. If the number of dead pixels exceeds manufacturer specifications, contact support.
- HDR Not Working Properly: Ensure HDR is enabled in both your operating system display settings and the monitor's OSD. Verify your content and graphics card support HDR. Firmware updates may address specific HDR compatibility issues.
- Adaptive Dimming Issues: If adaptive dimming causes undesirable effects (e.g., white text dimming on dark backgrounds), adjust the setting in the OSD. Note that adaptive dimming may be a global setting affecting both SDR and HDR modes.
- Input Lag in SDR Mode: Some users may experience higher input lag in SDR compared to other monitors. Ensure FreeSync Premium Pro is enabled if applicable, and check for available firmware updates that might optimize SDR performance.
- White Levels Clipped in SDR: If white details appear overexposed in SDR mode, adjust brightness, contrast, or gamma settings in the OSD. Firmware updates may also provide calibration improvements.
- Monitor Runs Hot in HDR 1000 Mode: High brightness levels required for HDR 1000 can generate more heat. Ensure adequate ventilation around the monitor. This is generally normal operation for high-performance HDR displays.
- No ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) for PS5: This feature may require specific firmware updates from the manufacturer. Check Acer's support website for the latest firmware.
- Super Sharpness Bug: If the image appears overly sharpened, check the OSD settings for a 'Super Sharpness' or similar option and disable it if it's enabled by default.
If these steps do not resolve your issue, please refer to the Warranty and Support section for further assistance.
