Setup

1. Charging the Earbuds and Case

1. Place the earbuds into the charging case. Ensure they are correctly seated in their respective slots (L for left, R for right).
2. Connect the USB charging cable to the charging port on the case and plug the other end into a USB power source (e.g., computer, wall adapter).
3. The LED indicators on the charging case will illuminate to show charging status. A full charge typically takes approximately 1-2 hours.
4. Once fully charged, disconnect the charging cable. The case holds approximately 3 additional charges for the earbuds.

2. Initial Pairing with a Bluetooth Device

1. Open the charging case. The earbuds will automatically power on and enter pairing mode.
2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, etc.), navigate to the Bluetooth settings.
3. Search for available devices and select "Altec Lansing MZX5000" from the list.
4. Once connected, you will hear an audible confirmation, and the earbuds' indicator lights will change (e.g., stop flashing).
5. The earbuds will automatically reconnect to the last paired device when removed from the case, provided Bluetooth is enabled on the device.

Operating Instructions

Power On/Off

• Power On: Open the charging case, and the earbuds will automatically power on.
• Power Off: Place the earbuds back into the charging case and close the lid. They will automatically power off and begin charging.

Music Playback

• Play/Pause: Tap either earbud once.
• Next Track: Double-tap the right earbud.
• Previous Track: Double-tap the left earbud.
• Volume Up: Triple-tap the right earbud.
• Volume Down: Triple-tap the left earbud.

Call Management

• Answer/End Call: Tap either earbud once.
• Reject Call: Press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds.

Voice Assistant

• Activate Voice Assistant: Press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds (when not on a call).

Water Resistance (IPX5)

The Nanobuds 2.0 are rated IPX5 water-resistant, meaning they are protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. This makes them suitable for workouts and light rain. They are not designed for submersion in water.
