Maintenance and Care
Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and appearance of your office chair.
- Cleaning: Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Inspection: Periodically check all bolts and screws to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
- Casters: Keep casters free of hair and debris to ensure smooth rolling.
- Mesh Fabric: The high-quality mesh is designed to resist abrasion and deformation. For general cleaning, a soft brush or vacuum cleaner can be used.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your KERDOM Ergonomic Office Chair, refer to the following common solutions:
- Chair Squeaks: Check all connections and tighten any loose bolts. Applying a small amount of silicone lubricant to moving parts (e.g., gas lift, tilt mechanism) may help.
- Gas Lift Not Adjusting: Ensure the height adjustment lever is fully engaged or disengaged. If the issue persists, the gas lift cylinder may need replacement.
- Armrests Feel Loose: Re-tighten the bolts securing the armrests to the seat. If the armrest pads twist excessively, ensure they are properly seated.
- Headrest Does Not Stay Up: Check the connection points of the headrest to the backrest. Ensure it is securely attached and the adjustment mechanism is functioning.
- Casters Not Rolling Smoothly: Remove any hair, dust, or debris from the caster wheels.
If these steps do not resolve the issue, please contact KERDOM customer support for further assistance.
