4. Setup
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the dehumidifier from its packaging. Retain packaging materials for future storage or transport.
- Placement: Place the unit on a flat, stable surface in the area where dehumidification is desired. Ensure there is at least 20 cm of clear space around all sides of the unit for proper airflow. Avoid placing it directly against walls or furniture.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet. Ensure the voltage matches the specifications of the unit.
- Water Tank Installation: Ensure the 3.4L water tank is correctly inserted into the unit. The unit will not operate if the tank is not properly seated or is full.
- Continuous Drainage (Optional): For continuous operation without needing to empty the water tank, connect the included 1-meter drain hose to the drainage port at the back of the unit. Route the hose to a suitable drain (e.g., floor drain, sink) ensuring it is sloped downwards for gravity drainage.

The Newentor Dehumidifier features an intuitive control panel for easy operation.
- Power On/Off: Press the Power Button once to turn the unit on. Press it again to turn the unit off.
- Setting Humidity Level: Use the Humidity Setting Buttons (if available on your model's control panel) to set your desired humidity level. The unit will operate until the ambient humidity reaches the set level.
- Mode Selection: Your dehumidifier may have different operating modes (e.g., Strong Mode, Continuous Mode). Refer to the control panel icons to select the appropriate mode for your needs. In Strong Mode, the unit operates at maximum dehumidification capacity.
- Timer Function: Utilize the Timer Button to set a specific operating duration (e.g., 2 hours, 4 hours). The unit will automatically shut off after the set time.
- Water Tank Full Indicator: When the 3.4L water tank is full, the unit will automatically shut off, and an indicator light will illuminate. Empty the tank and reinsert it to resume operation.
- Continuous Drainage: If the continuous drainage hose is connected, the unit will drain water automatically, allowing for extended operation without manual tank emptying.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your dehumidifier.
- Cleaning the Water Tank:
Empty the water tank regularly. Clean it with mild soap and warm water every few weeks to prevent mold and mildew growth. Rinse thoroughly and dry before reinserting.

The dehumidifier is equipped with a removable filter. It is recommended to clean the filter every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Turn off and unplug the unit.
- Remove the filter from its slot (refer to the diagram in your product's quick start guide for exact location).
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. For heavily soiled filters, a soft brush can be used.
