Setup and Installation
Follow these steps for proper installation of your BWE vessel sink faucet:
- Prepare the Sink: Ensure the sink hole is clean and free of debris. The required hole size for your bathroom sink is 1.2" (Min) - 2.2" (Max). The maximum deck thickness should be 1.37".
- Install the Faucet:
- Feed the hot and cold water supply lines through the faucet body.
- Place the rubber O-ring at the base of the faucet.
- Insert the faucet into the sink hole.
- From underneath the sink, slide the rubber washer and then the metal washer onto the faucet shank.
- Thread the mounting nut onto the faucet shank and tighten it securely with a wrench.
- Connect Water Supply Lines:
- Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to the corresponding water supply valves (red for hot, blue for cold).
- Ensure all connections are hand-tight, then use a wrench to tighten an additional quarter turn. Do not overtighten.
- Install the Pop-up Drain:
- Apply plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the top flange of the pop-up drain.
- Insert the drain into the sink's drain hole.
- From underneath the sink, install the rubber washer, friction washer, and mounting nut onto the drain body. Tighten securely.
- Connect the P-trap to the bottom of the pop-up drain.
- Test for Leaks: Turn on the main water supply and check all connections for leaks. Run water through the faucet for a few minutes to flush out any debris.

- Adjusting Temperature: Move the handle to the left for hot water and to the right for cold water. The handle can be positioned anywhere between hot and cold to achieve the desired temperature.

Maintenance
Proper care and maintenance will ensure the longevity and appearance of your BWE faucet.
- Cleaning: Clean the faucet regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or polishes as these can damage the finish.
- Water Spots: To prevent water spots, wipe the faucet dry after each use.
- Aerator/Screen: The waterfall spout has a built-in screen. If water flow decreases, check the screen for mineral buildup or debris and clean as necessary.
