Setup and Installation

Follow these steps for proper installation of your BWE vessel sink faucet:

  1. Prepare the Sink: Ensure the sink hole is clean and free of debris. The required hole size for your bathroom sink is 1.2" (Min) - 2.2" (Max). The maximum deck thickness should be 1.37".
  2. Install the Faucet:
    • Feed the hot and cold water supply lines through the faucet body.
    • Place the rubber O-ring at the base of the faucet.
    • Insert the faucet into the sink hole.
    • From underneath the sink, slide the rubber washer and then the metal washer onto the faucet shank.
    • Thread the mounting nut onto the faucet shank and tighten it securely with a wrench.
  3. Connect Water Supply Lines:
    • Connect the hot and cold water supply lines to the corresponding water supply valves (red for hot, blue for cold).
    • Ensure all connections are hand-tight, then use a wrench to tighten an additional quarter turn. Do not overtighten.
  4. Install the Pop-up Drain:
    • Apply plumber's putty or silicone sealant around the top flange of the pop-up drain.
    • Insert the drain into the sink's drain hole.
    • From underneath the sink, install the rubber washer, friction washer, and mounting nut onto the drain body. Tighten securely.
    • Connect the P-trap to the bottom of the pop-up drain.
  5. Test for Leaks: Turn on the main water supply and check all connections for leaks. Run water through the faucet for a few minutes to flush out any debris.

Maintenance

Proper care and maintenance will ensure the longevity and appearance of your BWE faucet.

  • Cleaning: Clean the faucet regularly with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or polishes as these can damage the finish.
  • Water Spots: To prevent water spots, wipe the faucet dry after each use.
