Setup Guide
1. Initial Charging
Before first use, fully charge the camera's built-in battery using the provided USB cable. Connect the USB cable to the camera's charging port and a 5V/1A USB adapter (not included). The red LED indicates charging, and a blue LED indicates full charge.
2. Insert SIM Card and Micro SD Card
In the off state, open the protective cover on the camera's underside. Insert the provided 32GB Micro SD card into the TF card slot. Then, insert the included 4G LTE SIM card into the SIM card slot. Ensure both are inserted correctly until they click into place. Close the protective cover securely.

3. Power On the Camera
Press and hold the power switch for 1-2 seconds to turn on the camera. The blue LED will light up and stay on, indicating the camera is powered on and ready for app connection. If the blue light is not constantly on, press and hold the Reset switch for several seconds until the voice prompts "System reset".

4. Download and Register UBox App
Search for "UBox" in the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, or scan the QR code on the product packaging to download the app. Register a new account or log in if you already have one.
5. Add Device to App
Open the UBox app and select "Add a device". Follow the on-screen prompts. When instructed, scan the QR code located on the side of the camera using your phone's camera. The app will guide you through connecting the camera to the 4G network.

6. Mount the Camera and Solar Panel
Use the provided mounting bracket and screws to securely install the camera in your desired outdoor location. Ensure the solar panel is positioned to receive maximum direct sunlight throughout the day for optimal charging. The long USB-C cable allows flexible placement of the solar panel relative to the camera.
Operating Your Camera
1. Live View and Controls
Open the UBox app and select your device to access the live view. You can switch between SD (Standard Definition) and HD (High Definition) video quality. Use the on-screen joystick controls to pan (left/right) and tilt (up/down) the camera for a 360° viewing angle. You can also adjust the speed of the PTZ movement.

2. Two-Way Audio
Tap the microphone icon in the app to enable two-way audio. You can speak through your phone, and your voice will be projected through the camera's speaker. Similarly, you can hear audio from the camera's surroundings through your phone.

3. Motion Detection and Alerts
The camera is equipped with PIR motion detection. When motion is detected, the camera will automatically record a short video clip (configurable duration) and send an alert notification to your UBox app. You can customize activity detection sensitivity in the device settings.
4. Night Vision
The camera features 2K color night vision, utilizing four built-in spotlights to capture clear and colorful images even in complete darkness. It also supports infrared night vision for discreet monitoring.
5. Recording and Storage
Recorded video clips are saved to the included 32GB Micro SD card. The camera supports up to 128GB Micro SD cards. You can also subscribe to optional cloud storage plans for off-site backup of your recordings.
Maintenance
1. Solar Panel Charging
Ensure the solar panel is kept clean and free from obstructions (dust, leaves, snow) to maximize sunlight absorption and maintain optimal battery charge. Periodically wipe the panel with a soft, damp cloth.
2. Battery Care
The camera has a built-in rechargeable battery. While the solar panel provides continuous power, if the camera is installed in an area with prolonged low sunlight, occasional manual charging via the USB cable may be necessary.
3. Waterproofing
The camera is IP65 waterproof. Ensure the protective cover for the SIM/SD card slots and charging port is always securely closed to prevent water ingress.
Troubleshooting
1. Camera Offline
- Check 4G LTE signal strength in the camera's location.
- Ensure the SIM card has an active data plan and sufficient data.
- Verify the camera battery is charged.
- Try restarting the camera by holding the power button.
2. No Motion Alerts
- Check activity detection settings in the UBox app (sensitivity, arming schedule).
- Ensure the camera's PIR sensor is not obstructed.
- Verify app notifications are enabled on your smartphone.
3. Poor Video Quality
- Switch to HD mode in the live view settings.
- Check 4G LTE signal strength, as weak signal can affect streaming quality.
- Clean the camera lens.
4. SIM Card Not Working (US Version)
- The included SIM card is for US use only.
- Ensure the SIM card is correctly inserted.
- Recharge data plans directly through the UBox APP for proper after-sales support. Do not recharge by scanning QR codes on the SIM card holder.
