Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your WhalesBot B3 Pro kit, follow these maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Wipe down all components with a dry, soft cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
  • Storage: Always store all parts in the provided blue storage box after use. This prevents loss of small components and protects them from damage.
  • Battery Care: Ensure the controller and coding pen are charged using the provided USB cable. Avoid overcharging or completely draining the batteries.
  • Handling: Handle electronic components with care. Avoid dropping or applying excessive force to the robot and its parts.

Troubleshooting

Robot Not Responding

  • Check Battery Levels: Ensure the controller and coding pen are fully charged. A low battery can prevent proper function.
  • Verify Pairing: Confirm that the coding pen/controller is successfully paired with the robot. Refer to the Quick Start Guide for detailed pairing instructions.
  • Correct Card Scanning: Make sure the coding cards are scanned correctly and in the intended sequence. The pen provides audio feedback upon successful scan.

Movement Issues

  • Component Connection: Double-check that all structural components and electronic modules are securely connected according to the building guide for the specific model.
  • Obstructions: Ensure there are no physical obstructions in the robot's path or within its moving gears and wheels.
  • Program Logic: Review the programmed sequence of coding cards to ensure the logic matches the desired movement.
