3. Setup and Assembly

Assembly requires at least two adults. Follow the step-by-step instructions provided in the separate assembly guide (if applicable) or the detailed diagrams. Ensure you have sufficient space and all necessary tools.

  1. Site Selection: Choose a flat, level surface free from obstacles. Ensure adequate overhead clearance (at least 7.3 meters / 24 feet) and side clearance (at least 2.4 meters / 8 feet) from structures or other objects.
  2. Frame Assembly: Connect the frame sections according to the diagrams, securing them with the provided hardware.
  3. Jumping Mat and Springs: Lay the jumping mat inside the frame. Attach the springs evenly around the frame and mat using the spring loading tool. This step requires significant force.
  4. Spring Cover Pad: Place the spring cover pad over the springs and frame to prevent contact with the springs. Secure it firmly.
  5. Safety Enclosure Poles: Attach the enclosure poles to the trampoline frame. Slide the foam sleeves over the poles.
  6. Safety Enclosure Net: Secure the safety net to the top of the enclosure poles and the bottom of the spring cover pad. Ensure the zipper entrance is functional and securely closed during use.
  7. Final Inspection: Double-check all connections, bolts, and safety features before first use.

4. Operating Instructions

The ZIPRO Jump Pro Trampoline is designed for recreational outdoor use. Adhere to all safety guidelines during operation.

  • Entering the Trampoline: Use the ladder (if applicable) or step carefully onto the jumping mat through the zippered opening. Close the zipper securely behind you.
  • Jumping Technique: Begin with small bounces to get accustomed to the trampoline. Maintain control and jump in the center of the mat.
  • Stopping a Bounce: To stop bouncing, flex your knees as your feet come into contact with the mat.
  • Exiting the Trampoline: Stop bouncing completely, then carefully exit through the zippered opening. Never jump off the trampoline.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance will extend the life of your trampoline and ensure continued safe use.

  • Daily/Before Each Use: Inspect the trampoline for any loose, missing, or damaged parts. Pay close attention to the jumping mat, springs, spring cover pad, and safety net.
  • Monthly/Seasonally: Check all bolts and nuts for tightness. Lubricate any moving parts if necessary (e.g., hinges on a ladder).
  • Cleaning: Clean the jumping mat and safety net with mild soap and water. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
  • UV Protection: The jumping mat and safety net are UV-resistant, but prolonged exposure to intense sunlight can still cause degradation over time.
  • Winter Storage: In regions with harsh winters, it is recommended to disassemble and store the trampoline indoors to protect it from snow, ice, and extreme cold.
  • Replacement Parts: Use only genuine Zipro replacement parts. Contact Zipro customer support for assistance.

6. Troubleshooting

This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your trampoline.

  • Squeaking Noise: Check all frame connections and ensure bolts are tight. A small amount of lubricant on frame joints may help.
  • Loose Safety Net: Ensure the net is properly attached to both the poles and the spring cover pad. Check all straps and ties.
  • Reduced Bounce: Over time, springs can lose some elasticity. Inspect springs for stretching or damage. Replace worn springs.
  • Damaged Jumping Mat/Net: Discontinue use immediately. Order genuine Zipro replacement parts and replace them before further use.
