Setup and Installation

This KEPLUG LED ceiling light is designed for hardwired installation on either ceilings or walls. Please ensure the power supply is turned off at the circuit breaker before beginning installation. It is recommended that installation be performed by a qualified electrician.

Pre-Installation Steps:

  1. Select Color Temperature: Before mounting, locate the color temperature switch on the back of the light fixture. Slide the switch to select your desired color temperature: 3000K (Warm White), 4000K (Natural White), or 6000K (Cool White). This setting cannot be changed after installation without removing the fixture.
  2. Gather Tools: Ensure you have the necessary tools, including a screwdriver, wire strippers, and electrical tape.

Installation Steps:

  1. Install Mounting Bracket: Secure the provided mounting bracket to the ceiling or wall junction box using the screws and anchors. Ensure the bracket is firmly attached and level.

Operating Instructions

Your KEPLUG motion sensor LED ceiling light offers adjustable settings for optimal performance.

Operating Modes:

The light fixture features a slide switch on the side to select between three operating modes:

  • ON Mode: The light functions as a standard ceiling lamp, remaining continuously on. It can be controlled via your wall switch. Motion sensing is disabled in this mode.
  • OFF Mode: The light is turned off.
  • AUTO Mode: This mode activates the motion and light sensors. The light will turn on automatically when motion is detected in low ambient light conditions.

Motion Sensor Functionality (AUTO Mode):

In AUTO mode, the built-in microwave motion sensor detects movement within a 120-degree angle and a range of 9-18 feet. The light will activate when motion is detected and the ambient light is low. After motion ceases, the light will remain on for a set duration before automatically turning off.

Adjustable Timer Settings:

The light offers three adjustable timer settings for how long it remains on after motion is no longer detected:

  • 30 seconds
  • 120 seconds
  • 180 seconds

To adjust the timer, locate the small slide switch next to the motion sensor on the light fixture and select your preferred duration.

Color Temperature Selection:

As mentioned in the setup, the color temperature (3000K Warm White, 4000K Natural White, 6000K Cool White) is selected via a switch on the back of the fixture prior to installation.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your KEPLUG LED ceiling light, follow these simple maintenance guidelines:

  • Cleaning: Disconnect power to the fixture before cleaning. Use a soft, dry, or slightly damp cloth to wipe the surface of the light. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents, or harsh chemicals, as these can damage the finish or electronic components.
  • Inspection: Periodically inspect the fixture for any signs of damage or loose connections. If any issues are found, consult a qualified electrician.
  • Bulb Replacement: This fixture uses integrated LED technology, meaning the LED bulbs are not user-replaceable. The LEDs are designed for a long lifespan (over 30,000 hours).
