Adjusting Headrest and Harness Height
The car seat features a 5-position shoulder height adjustment to accommodate your growing child. The headrest is attached with Velcro and can be adjusted by untucking the straps from the back of the seat and re-threading them through the desired height slot. Ensure the harness straps are at or below your child's shoulders for rear-facing and at or above for forward-facing.

Infant Insert Usage
The infant insert should only be used for children weighing between 4-18 lbs to provide proper support and fit.
Installation Modes
The Trooper Slim 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat supports three growth modes:
- Rear-Facing Infant: For children 4-18 lbs.
- Rear-Facing Toddler: For children 18-40 lbs.
- Forward-Facing Toddler: For children 30-65 lbs.

Car Seat Installation (LATCH & Seat Belt)
The car seat can be installed using either the LATCH system or your vehicle's seat belt. Refer to the labels on the car seat and your vehicle's owner's manual for detailed instructions specific to your car and child's weight/height.
- LATCH Installation: The lightweight shell allows for LATCH installation up to 55 lbs.
- Seat Belt Installation: Follow the belt path indicated on the car seat for either rear-facing or forward-facing modes.

Recline and Leveling
The car seat features a rear-facing recline flip foot to achieve optimal installation angles. Use the built-in bubble level indicator to ensure correct recline for your child's weight.

Operating the Car Seat
Securing Your Child
Place your child in the car seat and bring the harness straps over their shoulders. Connect the two buckle tongues into the crotch buckle until you hear a click. Ensure the chest clip is at armpit level. The no-twist harness indicator helps prevent strap twisting for smoother installation and safer use.

Integrated Cup Holders
The car seat includes two integrated cup holders on the sides for convenience. These are designed to be easily cleaned.
