Setup

Initial Winding

As an automatic watch, the OLEVS L7003 is powered by the motion of your wrist. If the watch has stopped, it may require manual winding to initiate movement. To manually wind, gently rotate the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times while it is in its normal, pushed-in position. This will build up a power reserve.

Setting Time and Date

  1. Pull the crown out to the first click position: This position is for setting the date. Rotate the crown either clockwise or counter-clockwise until the correct date is displayed. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.
  2. Pull the crown out to the second click position: This position is for setting the time. Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands until the correct time is displayed. Ensure to account for AM/PM when setting the time, especially if the date changes at noon instead of midnight.
  3. Push the crown back in: Once the time and date are set, push the crown firmly back into its original position to secure the settings and ensure water resistance.

Operating

Automatic Movement

Your OLEVS L7003 watch features an original self-winding mechanical movement. This means the watch is powered by the natural motion of your arm. Regular wear will keep the watch wound. If the watch is not worn for an extended period (typically 36-48 hours), it may stop and require manual winding as described in the 'Initial Winding' section.

Luminous Feature

The watch is equipped with high-definition luminous hands and markers. After exposure to light, these elements will glow in the dark, allowing you to read the time in low-light conditions. The intensity and duration of the luminescence depend on the exposure time and intensity of light.

Maintenance

Water Resistance

The OLEVS L7003 watch is water-resistant to 30 meters (3ATM). This means it can withstand daily splashes, rain, or brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, diving, or any prolonged water activities. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in to maintain water resistance.

Cleaning

To clean your watch, wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth. For the metal band, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying. Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive materials, as these can damage the watch's finish.

Strap Adjustment

The watch strap can be adjusted to fit your wrist. A strap adjustment tool is typically included with the watch. If you are unsure how to adjust the strap, it is recommended to seek assistance from a professional jeweler to avoid damage.

Troubleshooting

Watch Not Running

  • Insufficient Power Reserve: If the watch has not been worn or moved for a while, it may have run out of power. Manually wind the watch by rotating the crown clockwise 30-40 times.
  • Crown Position: Ensure the crown is fully pushed in. If it is pulled out, the watch will not run.

Inaccurate Time

  • Low Power Reserve: An automatic watch may lose accuracy if its power reserve is low. Wear the watch regularly or manually wind it to ensure a full power reserve.
  • Magnetic Fields: Exposure to strong magnetic fields (e.g., from electronics, speakers) can affect the watch's accuracy. If you suspect magnetization, consult a professional watchmaker for demagnetization.
  • Impact: A significant impact can affect the internal mechanism. If accuracy issues persist after ensuring sufficient power, professional inspection may be required.
