Introduction

Thank you for choosing the OLEVS L7003 Automatic Watch. This manual provides essential information for the proper setup, operation, and maintenance of your timepiece. Please read these instructions carefully to ensure optimal performance and longevity of your watch.

Setup

1. Initial Winding

Your OLEVS L7003 watch features an automatic mechanical movement. While it self-winds with wrist motion, it requires initial manual winding if it has stopped or is new. To manually wind:

  1. Ensure the crown is in position 1 (fully pushed in).
  2. Rotate the crown clockwise approximately 30-40 times. This will build up a power reserve.
  3. The watch will start running.

2. Setting Time and Date

To set the time and date on your watch:

  1. Setting the Date: Gently pull the crown out to position 2. Rotate the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise until the correct date is displayed. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can interfere with the automatic date change mechanism.
  2. Setting the Time: Pull the crown out further to position 3. Rotate the crown to move the hour and minute hands to the desired time. Push the crown back to position 1 (fully pushed in) to start the watch.

3. Adjusting the Bracelet

The stainless steel bracelet can be adjusted for a comfortable fit. This typically involves removing or adding links. It is recommended to have this adjustment performed by a professional jeweler to prevent damage to the bracelet or watch.

Operation

Automatic Movement

Your OLEVS L7003 watch is powered by an automatic mechanical movement. This means it winds itself through the natural motion of your wrist. When worn regularly (approximately 8-10 hours a day), the watch will maintain its power reserve. If the watch is not worn for an extended period, it may stop and require manual winding as described in the "Initial Winding" section.

Luminous Function

The watch features high-definition luminous hands, allowing for time readability in low-light conditions. The luminous material charges by absorbing light (natural or artificial) and then emits a glow in the dark.

Water Resistance

The OLEVS L7003 watch is water resistant to 30 meters (3ATM/3BAR). This rating means it can withstand daily splashes, rain, or brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, showering, diving, or any activities involving prolonged water exposure or high-pressure water jets. Ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any contact with water.

Maintenance

Cleaning

To maintain the appearance of your watch:

  • Wipe the watch case and bracelet regularly with a soft, dry cloth.
  • For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, followed by immediate drying.
  • Avoid using harsh chemicals, solvents, or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the watch's finish.

Storage

When not wearing your watch, store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, extreme temperatures, and strong magnetic fields. A watch box or pouch is ideal for protection.

Regular Servicing

Mechanical watches benefit from periodic servicing by a qualified watchmaker, typically every 3-5 years. This helps ensure the movement remains lubricated and accurate.

Troubleshooting

  • Watch Not Running: If the watch has stopped, it likely needs to be manually wound. Follow the "Initial Winding" instructions in the Setup section. Ensure you wear the watch regularly to keep the automatic movement powered.
  • Incorrect Time/Date: Refer to the "Setting Time and Date" instructions in the Setup section to correct.
  • Water Damage: If the watch is exposed to water beyond its 30m resistance (e.g., swimming or showering), or if condensation appears inside the crystal, immediately take it to a professional watch repair service. Do not attempt to open the watch yourself.
  • Luminous Hands Not Glowing: Ensure the watch has been exposed to sufficient light to charge the luminous material.
