1. Overview

The Jansite Type-C Hardwire Kit (Model Z019) is designed to provide a continuous power supply to your Jansite mirror dash camera, enabling advanced features such as 24-hour parking monitoring and timelapse recording. This customized kit converts 12V-24V vehicle power to a stable 5V 2.5A output, ensuring reliable operation of your dash cam.

2.2 Wiring Connections

1. Red Wire (ACC): Connect this wire to a fuse in your vehicle's fuse box that is only live when the ignition is on (Accessory power). This allows the dash cam to switch between driving and parking modes.
2. Yellow Wire (B+): Connect this wire to a fuse in your vehicle's fuse box that is always live, even when the ignition is off (Constant power). This provides continuous power for the 24-hour parking monitor.

Important Note: Some vehicles may retain power to certain circuits for a few minutes after the ignition is turned off. The parking monitor function will only activate once all power to the ACC circuit is completely cut off. This is normal vehicle behavior and not an issue with the hardwire kit.
