Setup and Installation

Pre-Installation Checklist

  • Confirm all components are present and undamaged.
  • Gather necessary tools: wrench, pipe sealant, measuring tape, level, drill, screwdriver.
  • Ensure adequate water pressure (dynamic water pressure 3 BAR recommended).

Installation Steps

  1. Prepare Wall Cavity: Create a suitable opening in the wall for the thermostatic control valve. The system features a split concealed box design to facilitate installation.

  3. Install Thermostatic Valve: Mount the thermostatic control valve securely within the wall cavity. Ensure it is level and properly aligned. The French Vernet thermostatic valve core is designed for durability.
  4. Connect Water Lines: Connect hot and cold water supply lines to the designated inlets on the thermostatic valve. Use appropriate pipe sealant to prevent leaks.
  5. Install Shower Head Arm: Securely install the shower head arm into the wall, ensuring it is properly anchored and sealed. The 12-inch square rain shower head offers 360° rotation.

  7. Install Body Jets: Install the 6 massage body jets at desired heights and positions on the wall. These brass body jets feature 18 holes and adjustable angles.

  9. Install Handheld Shower and Hose: Mount the hand socket and connect the 1.5m stainless steel hose to the handheld shower.
  10. Connect All Outlets: Connect the shower head, body jets, and handheld shower to their respective outlets on the thermostatic valve.
  11. Test for Leaks: Slowly turn on the main water supply and check all connections for leaks. Address any leaks immediately.
  12. Install Trim Kit: Once all connections are secure and tested, install the decorative trim kit over the valve and wall openings.

Operating Instructions

Temperature Control

The thermostatic control valve maintains a constant water temperature. The default preset temperature is 100℉/38℃. To adjust the temperature, press the safety button on the thermostatic handle and rotate to your desired setting. The system is designed to prevent sudden temperature fluctuations.

Function Selection

The system offers three distinct spray patterns which can be used individually or simultaneously:

  • Rainfall Shower Head: Provides a wide, gentle rain-like spray.
  • Handheld Shower: Features 3 modes: Rainfall, Mist, and Rainfall+Mist. Adjust by rotating the head or pressing a button on the handheld unit.
  • Massage Body Jets: Directable jets for a targeted massage experience.

Use the control knobs on the valve panel to select and activate the desired functions. The system allows for multiple functions to operate concurrently.

Maintenance

Cleaning

  • Clean the matte black finish with a soft cloth and mild soap. Avoid abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals that can damage the finish.
  • Regularly wipe down shower nozzles to prevent mineral buildup. For stubborn deposits, use a vinegar solution.

Thermostatic Valve Care

The French Vernet thermostatic valve is designed for long-term reliability. No specific user maintenance is typically required for the internal mechanism. If temperature control issues arise, consult the troubleshooting section or a professional.
