1. Introduction

2. Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to persons, read all instructions before operating this appliance.

  • Ensure the dryer is properly grounded according to local codes and ordinances.
  • Do not dry articles that have been previously cleaned in, washed in, soaked in, or spotted with gasoline, dry-cleaning solvents, or other flammable or explosive substances.
  • Do not allow children to play on or in the appliance. Close supervision of children is necessary when the appliance is used near children.
  • Before the appliance is removed from service or discarded, remove the door to the drying compartment.
  • Do not reach into the appliance if the drum is moving.
  • Do not install or store this appliance where it will be exposed to the weather.
  • Do not tamper with controls.
  • Clean lint screen before or after each load.
  • Keep area around the exhaust opening and adjacent surrounding areas free from the accumulation of lint, dust, and dirt.

  • Do not dry unwashed items in the tumble dryer.
  • Items that have been soiled with substances such as cooking oil, acetone, alcohol, petrol, kerosene, spot removers, turpentine, waxes and wax removers should be washed in hot water with an extra amount of detergent before being dried in the tumble dryer.
  • Items containing foam rubber (latex foam), shower caps, waterproof textiles, rubber backed articles and clothes or pillows fitted with foam rubber pads should not be dried in the tumble dryer.

4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the dryer from its packaging. Inspect for any shipping damage. Retain packaging materials for future transport if needed.

4.2 Placement

  • Place the dryer on a firm, level floor.
  • Ensure adequate clearance around the dryer for proper air circulation and maintenance.
  • Do not install the dryer in an area where it may be exposed to water or extreme temperatures.

4.3 Ventilation

Proper ventilation is critical for efficient drying and safety. The dryer must be vented to the outside. Connect the exhaust hose (as shown in Figure 3.1.3) to the dryer's exhaust opening and route it to an outdoor vent. Ensure the hose is not kinked or obstructed.

4.4 Electrical Connection

Connect the dryer to a dedicated, properly grounded electrical outlet. Refer to the specifications section for electrical requirements. Do not use extension cords.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Loading the Dryer

  • Sort laundry by fabric type and drying requirements.
  • Do not overload the dryer. The 5kg capacity refers to dry weight. Leave enough space for clothes to tumble freely.
  • Check pockets for foreign objects before loading.

5.2 Control Panel and Programs

The LCD screen and control buttons allow selection of drying programs. While specific program details are not provided, typical options include:

  • Auto: Automatically detects moisture levels and adjusts drying time.
  • Sterilization: High-temperature cycle for sanitizing items.

6.1 Cleaning the Lint Filter

The lint filter must be cleaned before or after every load. This prevents lint buildup, which can reduce drying efficiency and pose a fire hazard.

  1. Open the dryer door.
  2. Locate the lint filter at the front of the drum opening (refer to Figure 3.1.2).
  3. Remove the lint filter by pulling it out.
  4. Peel off any accumulated lint.
  5. Reinsert the clean lint filter firmly into its housing.

6.2 Cleaning the Intake Filter

The intake filter should be cleaned monthly to maintain proper airflow.

  1. Locate the intake filter (as indicated in Figure 3.1.4).
  2. Remove the intake filter.
  3. Clean any dust or debris from the filter.
  4. Reinstall the intake filter.

6.3 Exterior Cleaning

Wipe the exterior surfaces of the dryer with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.

6.4 Interior Cleaning

Periodically wipe the interior of the drum with a damp cloth. For stubborn stains, use a mild detergent and rinse thoroughly.

7. Troubleshooting
