Introduction
This user manual provides comprehensive instructions for the Pagertec Wireless Coaster Paging Calling System. This system is designed to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction in various environments such as restaurants, hospitals, offices, and hotels. It consists of a high-power transmitter, charging bases, and rugged pagers.
Please read this manual thoroughly before operating the system to ensure proper setup and optimal performance.
System Components
The Pagertec Wireless Coaster Paging Calling System includes the following main components:
- Transmitter: The central unit used to send calls to pagers.
- Charging Bases: Units where pagers are placed to recharge their batteries. One charging base is typically provided for every 15 pagers.
- Pagers: Individual coaster-style devices that receive calls and alert users.

Setup Instructions
- Unboxing and Inspection: Carefully unpack all components. Verify that all items listed in your package contents are present and undamaged.
- Connect Charging Bases: Connect the power adapter to each charging base and plug it into a standard electrical outlet. Ensure the charging bases are placed on a stable, flat surface.
- Charge Pagers: Place the pagers onto the charging bases. Ensure each pager makes proper contact with the charging pins. The pagers will begin charging automatically. A full charge typically takes 6-8 hours. Pagers can last up to 48 hours on a single charge.
- Position Transmitter: Place the transmitter in a central location, ideally with minimal obstructions, to maximize signal range. Connect the power adapter to the transmitter and plug it into an electrical outlet.
- Initial Power-On: The transmitter will power on automatically once connected to power. The LCD display will illuminate.

Operating Instructions
Calling Pagers
- Enter Pager Number: On the transmitter's keypad, enter the number of the pager you wish to call. The pager number is typically displayed on the pager itself.
- Send Call: Press the "SEND" button on the transmitter. The selected pager will activate according to its programmed alert mode.
- Multiple Pagers: To call multiple pagers, you can enter each number sequentially and press SEND, or use group calling functions if programmed.
Alert Modes
The pagers support three distinct alert modes, which can be programmed individually or in combination:
- Bright LED Lights: The pager's LED indicators will flash.
- Strong Vibration: The pager will vibrate.
- Beep: The pager will emit an audible beep sound.
The alert time is adjustable from 2 seconds to continuous alert until the pager is returned to its charging base. This ensures proper notification until the customer acknowledges the call.

Range and Interference
The system is designed with over 200 channels to minimize interference from other frequencies. In open air, the pager system can operate generally within 2 miles from the base. Actual range may vary depending on environmental factors such as building materials, obstacles, and other wireless devices.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the transmitter, charging bases, and pagers. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth with mild soap can be used, ensuring no liquid enters the devices. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Care: Always return pagers to their charging bases when not in use to ensure they are fully charged and ready for operation. The pagers use commercial-grade rechargeable AAA batteries, which are designed for long life and are user-replaceable if needed.
- Storage: If storing the system for an extended period, ensure all pagers are fully charged before storage. Store in a cool, dry place.
