4. Setup and Installation

4.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge your Slim Beam+ light. Connect the included USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the light and plug the other end into a standard USB power adapter (not included) or a computer USB port. The light will indicate when charging is complete (refer to product packaging for specific indicator light behavior, if any).

4.2 Mounting the Light

The Slim Beam+ light utilizes magnetic mounting for easy installation and removal.

1. Select Location: Choose a clean, dry, and flat surface for installation, such as under a cabinet, inside a closet, or on a wall.
2. Prepare Surface: Ensure the surface is free of dust and grease for optimal adhesive performance.
3. Attach Metal Plates: Peel the protective backing from the adhesive side of the metal mounting plates. Firmly press the plates onto the desired surface. Allow the adhesive to set for a few hours before attaching the light for maximum hold.
4. Attach Light: Once the plates are securely in place, simply align the magnetic back of the Slim Beam+ light with the installed metal plates. The light will snap into place magnetically.

5. Operating Instructions

The Slim Beam+ light features a multi-function switch and a color selection switch for customized operation.

5.1 Power and Mode Selection Switch

Locate the main switch on the side of the light. It has three positions:

• OFF: The light is completely off.
• ON: The light remains continuously on, regardless of motion or ambient light.
• AUTO: Activates the motion sensor. The light will turn on automatically when motion is detected in low light conditions and turn off after approximately 20 seconds of no motion.

5.2 Light Color Selection Switch

Use the smaller switch to select your preferred light color temperature:

• Cool White: Provides a bright, crisp white light (5000K-6000K).
• Soft White: Offers a warmer, more inviting light (2500K-3500K).
• Blended White: A balanced mix of cool and soft white (3500K-4500K).

5.3 Adjusting the Motion Sensor

The motion sensor can be pivoted up to 90 degrees to optimize its detection area. Gently rotate the sensor housing to direct it towards the area where motion detection is desired. This allows for precise control over when the light activates.

6. Charging the Battery

The Slim Beam+ light is equipped with a rechargeable lithium polymer battery. When the light output diminishes or the light stops functioning, it's time to recharge.

• Connect Cable: Use the provided USB Type-C charging cable. Insert the small end into the charging port on the light and the larger end into a compatible USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer, power bank).
• Charging Indicator: The light may feature an indicator (e.g., LED light) to show charging status. Consult the product packaging for specific details.
• Full Charge: Allow sufficient time for a full charge. A full charge can provide up to 600 on/off activations in motion sensor mode.

8. Troubleshooting

• Light not turning on in AUTO mode:
  • Check if the ambient light is too bright. The day/night sensor prevents activation in well-lit conditions.
  • Ensure the motion sensor is not obstructed.
  • Verify the battery is sufficiently charged.
• Light not detecting motion:
  • Adjust the angle of the motion sensor to cover the desired detection area.
  • Ensure there are no physical obstructions blocking the sensor's view.
  • Confirm the light is within the 10 ft detection range.
• Short battery life:
  • Ensure the light is fully charged before use.
  • Frequent activation in high-traffic areas will deplete the battery faster. Consider using 'ON' mode only when needed, or placing in lower-traffic areas.
  • If the light is constantly in 'ON' mode, it will drain the battery quickly.
• Light flickering or dim:
