Operating Instructions
Binding and SAFE Select
The Bind-N-Fly (BNF) Basic model comes equipped with a Spektrum 2.4GHz DSMX receiver (AR631) featuring AS3X (Artificial Stabilization – 3-axis) technology. This technology works behind the scenes to smooth out the effects of wind and turbulence, providing stability and precision. For new pilots or those seeking an extra margin of safety, the optional-use SAFE Select flight envelope protection can be enabled. No complex programming is required for SAFE Select.
- Pitch and Bank Angle Limits: These limits prevent the airplane from rolling or pitching upside down and prevent excessive climb or dive angles.
- Automatic Self-Leveling: The airplane automatically returns to and holds level flight when the control sticks are released. This feature is also helpful for maintaining wing level during takeoffs and landings.
- Easy Switch Assignment: A simple procedure allows assigning a transmitter switch to turn SAFE Select on and off without complex programming.

Flight Modes (SAFE Select)
When SAFE Select is active, the aircraft operates with limited pitch and bank angles and self-leveling. This is ideal for beginners. Disabling SAFE Select allows for full control, suitable for intermediate and experienced pilots.
Takeoff
The P-47 Razorback 1.2m can be launched from the ground or hand-launched. For ground takeoffs, ensure a smooth, flat surface. Gradually increase throttle and apply slight up elevator as the aircraft gains speed. For hand launches, hold the aircraft firmly, apply full throttle, and gently toss it forward into the wind.

Landing
Approach the landing area into the wind. Reduce throttle gradually and maintain a slight nose-up attitude. Avoid cutting the throttle completely until just before touchdown to maintain control. Gently flare the aircraft as it approaches the ground for a smooth landing.

Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your P-47 Razorback. Inspect all control surfaces, linkages, and the propeller for damage before each flight. Ensure the battery is fully charged and properly secured. Check for any loose screws or connections.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Aircraft does not respond to controls. | Transmitter not bound, low battery (aircraft or transmitter), loose connections. | Ensure transmitter is bound to receiver. Charge/replace batteries. Check all wiring connections. |
| Poor flight performance/unstable flight. | Incorrect CG, damaged propeller/control surfaces, wind conditions. | Adjust battery position for correct CG. Replace damaged parts. Fly in calmer conditions. |
| Motor not spinning. | ESC not armed, motor/ESC fault, low battery. | Ensure throttle is at zero before connecting battery. Check connections. Replace faulty components. |
