4. Setup
4.1 Placement
Position the soundbar on a stable, flat surface using the provided table mount accessories, or install it on the floor using the floor mount accessories. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit.
4.2 Power Connection
Connect the soundbar to a DC 5V power source using a compatible power adapter (not always included, check packaging). The unit is also designed to operate on battery power.
4.3 Initial Power On
Press and hold the power button (usually marked with a power symbol) on the soundbar or remote control to turn the unit on. The display (if available) or indicator light will illuminate.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 General Controls
The soundbar features touch controls on the top panel and a remote control for convenient operation.
- Power Button: Press and hold to turn on/off.
- Mode (M) Button: Press to cycle through input modes (Bluetooth, FM, USB, SD, AUX).
- Volume - / + Buttons: Press to decrease or increase the volume.
- Play/Pause Button: Controls playback in Bluetooth, USB, and SD modes.
- Previous / Next Buttons: Skips tracks in Bluetooth, USB, and SD modes, or tunes FM stations.
5.2 Bluetooth Mode
- Press the Mode (M) button until 'Bluetooth' mode is selected. The soundbar will enter pairing mode, indicated by a flashing LED.
- Enable Bluetooth on your mobile device (smartphone, tablet, laptop).
- Search for available devices and select 'BLP9980' from the list.
- Once paired, the LED indicator will stop flashing, and you can play audio from your device.
5.3 FM Radio Mode
- Press the Mode (M) button until 'FM' mode is selected.
- Press the Play/Pause button to automatically scan and save available FM stations.
- Use the Previous / Next buttons to navigate through the saved stations.
5.4 USB/SD Card Mode
- Insert a USB drive into the USB port or an SD card into the TF slot.
- Press the Mode (M) button until 'USB' or 'SD' mode is selected. The soundbar will automatically begin playing audio files.
- Use the Play/Pause and Previous / Next buttons to control playback.
5.5 AUX Mode
- Connect an external audio device (e.g., MP3 player, TV) to the AUX port using a 3.5mm audio cable (not always included).
- Press the Mode (M) button until 'AUX' mode is selected.
- Control playback and volume from your connected device.
6. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your soundbar, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior of the soundbar. Do not use liquid cleaners or abrasive materials.
- Storage: If storing the soundbar for an extended period, disconnect it from power and store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
- Avoid Obstructions: Ensure that the speaker grilles are free from dust and debris to maintain sound quality.
7. Troubleshooting
