Important Safety Instructions

WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury, observe the following:

• Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
• Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.

• Do not run cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings. Arrange cord away from traffic area and where it will not be tripped over.
• To disconnect heater, turn controls to off, then remove plug from outlet.
• Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
• To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
• Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• This heater includes a tip-over switch and overheat protection for enhanced safety.

Setup and Assembly

Follow these steps to assemble your Joy Pebble Oil Filled Radiator Heater:

1. Prepare the Unit: Carefully unbox the heater. Place the unit on a soft, flat surface to avoid scratching.
2. Attach Caster Wheels:

   Turn the heater upside down. Locate the mounting holes for the caster wheels on the bottom of the unit. Insert the U-shaped bolt through the designated holes on one side of the heater's base. Attach a caster wheel assembly to each end of the U-shaped bolt and secure with wing nuts. Repeat this process for the other side of the heater's base with the remaining caster wheels and wing nuts.

3. Attach Cord Holders:

   Locate the small holes on the side of the heater's control panel. Attach the two cord holders using the provided screws and a Phillips head screwdriver. These holders are designed for convenient cord storage when the heater is not in use.

4. Position the Heater: Once assembled, carefully turn the heater upright. Place it on a stable, level surface, ensuring it is at least 3 feet (0.9 meters) away from any walls, furniture, or flammable materials.

Operating Instructions

Your Joy Pebble Oil Filled Radiator Heater features simple controls for ease of use.

1. Power Connection: Ensure the heater is plugged directly into a 120V AC wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips. A red indicator light will illuminate when the unit is plugged in and receiving power.
2. Power Settings: Use the lower rotary knob to select one of the three power settings:
   • I (Low): 500W
   • II (Medium): 700W
   • III (High): 1200W

   Select the desired power level based on the room size and heating needs. Higher wattage provides faster and more intense heating.

3. Temperature Control (Thermostat): Use the upper rotary knob to adjust the desired room temperature.
   • Turn the knob clockwise towards "MAX" for a higher temperature setting.
   • Turn the knob counter-clockwise towards "MIN" for a lower temperature setting.

   The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature. For continuous heating, set the thermostat to "MAX".
4. Initial Use: During the first few hours of operation, a slight odor may be noticeable. This is normal and will dissipate quickly. Ensure adequate ventilation during initial use.
5. Quiet Operation: This oil-filled radiator heater operates silently, making it suitable for bedrooms, offices, and other quiet environments.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and longevity of your heater.

• Cleaning: Always unplug the heater and allow it to cool completely before cleaning. Use a soft, damp cloth to wipe the exterior surfaces. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: When not in use, store the heater in a cool, dry place. Use the integrated cord holders to neatly wrap the power cord.
• Oil: The heater contains permanently sealed oil and does not require refilling or replacement.
