1. Introduction

The Vactidy T8 Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo is designed to provide efficient and convenient floor cleaning for your home. This 2-in-1 device offers both vacuuming and mopping capabilities, adapting to various floor types including hard floors and low-pile carpets. Equipped with intelligent navigation and multiple control options, the T8 aims to simplify your daily cleaning routine.

3. Setup Guide

3.1 Initial Preparation and Charging

1. Remove Protective Film: Before first use, remove all protective films from the robot vacuum.
2. Set Up Charging Station: Place the charging base against a wall in an open area, ensuring there are no obstacles within 1 meter (3 feet) to the sides and 2 meters (6 feet) in front.
3. Connect Power: Plug the adapter into the charging base and then into a wall outlet. The indicator light on the charging base will illuminate.
4. Charge the Robot: Place the Vactidy T8 onto the charging base, aligning the charging contacts. Ensure the robot is properly docked and the indicator light on the robot begins to flash, indicating it is charging. Allow the robot to fully charge before its first use (approximately 4-5 hours).

3.2 App and Voice Control Setup

The Vactidy T8 can be controlled via the Vactidy App, Alexa, or Siri. Ensure your home Wi-Fi network is 2.4GHz, as 5GHz is not supported.

1. Download Vactidy App: Search for "Vactidy" in your mobile app store (App Store for iOS or Google Play Store for Android) and download the application.
2. Register/Login: Open the app and follow the prompts to register a new account or log in if you already have one.
3. Add Device: In the app, select "Add Device" or the "+" icon to begin the pairing process.
4. Connect to Wi-Fi: Follow the in-app instructions to connect your T8 to your home's 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network. This typically involves pressing and holding the Power and Home buttons on the robot simultaneously for 5 seconds until the button light blinks and a voice prompt confirms connection mode.
5. Complete Pairing: Wait for the app to complete the pairing process. Once successful, you can name your robot and access its full features.

3.3 Siri Voice Control Setup

After successfully connecting your Vactidy T8 to the app, you can set up Siri voice commands for convenient control.

1. Access Siri Settings: In the Vactidy App, navigate to the "Profile" page and tap on the "Siri" button.
2. Add Shortcut: Click on the "+" icon in the top right corner and select your connected T8 Robot Vacuum.
3. Select Command: Choose the desired function command (e.g., "Auto Clean," "Spot Clean," "Recharge").
4. Record Instruction: Record your custom voice instruction for the selected command (e.g., "Hey Siri, Auto clean"). You can also type the instruction directly.
5. Save: Save the shortcut. Now you can use your custom voice command to control your robot vacuum.

4. Operating Modes

The Vactidy T8 offers several cleaning modes to suit different needs and environments.

4.1 Auto Clean Mode

In Auto Clean mode, the robot intelligently navigates your home, creating a real-time map to plan the most efficient cleaning route. It covers all accessible areas without missing spots.

4.2 Spot Clean Mode

Use Spot Clean mode for concentrated cleaning of a specific area with heavy dirt or debris. The robot will clean in a spiral pattern around the designated spot.

4.3 Edge Clean Mode

Edge Clean mode is ideal for cleaning along walls and furniture edges. The robot will follow the perimeter of the room to ensure thorough cleaning of corners and hard-to-reach areas.

4.4 Mop Mode

Attach the mopping cloth and fill the water tank to activate Mop Mode. The robot will simultaneously vacuum and mop hard floors. Water flow levels can be adjusted via the app.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Vactidy T8.

5.1 Dustbin and Water Tank

• Emptying: Press the release button to remove the 2-in-1 dustbin and water tank. Open the dustbin cover and empty debris into a trash can.
• Cleaning: Rinse the dustbin and water tank with water. Ensure they are completely dry before reinserting them into the robot.

5.2 Roller Brush and Side Brushes

• Roller Brush: Remove the roller brush cover and lift out the brush. Use the included cleaning tool to remove hair and debris tangled around the brush.
• Side Brushes: Periodically check the side brushes for wear or damage. If necessary, remove them by unscrewing and replace with new ones.

5.3 Filters

• Cleaning: Tap the HEPA filter to remove dust. Do not wash the HEPA filter with water. The sponge filter can be rinsed with water.
• Replacement: Replace filters every 3-6 months, or more frequently depending on usage.
