5. Setup and Installation

The WALI SBR206 mount utilizes your TV's VESA mounting holes for installation. It can be configured to hold your soundbar either above or below the television.

5.1 Determine Mounting Position

Decide whether you want to mount your soundbar below or above your television. This will influence the orientation of the mount arms.

5.2 Attaching Mount Arms to TV

  1. If your TV is already wall-mounted, you may need to temporarily remove it or work carefully around it.
  2. Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your TV. These are typically used for TV wall mounts.
  3. Align the adjustable soundbar mount arms with the VESA holes. The arms are designed to extend and rotate to fit various TV and soundbar sizes.
  4. Use the appropriate screws, washers, and spacers from the provided hardware kit to secure the mount arms to the TV's VESA holes. Ensure they are tightened securely but do not overtighten.

5.3 Attaching Soundbar to Mount

The SBR206 mount offers multiple ways to attach your soundbar:

  • Bottom Hole Attachment: If your soundbar has threaded holes on its bottom, align the L-shaped holders and secure them using the appropriate screws.
  • Back Hole Attachment: For soundbars with threaded holes on the back, use the L-shaped holders in a reversed orientation to attach.
  • Keyhole Attachment: Some soundbars feature keyhole slots. The mount can be adapted to utilize these.
  • No Mounting Holes (Anti-slip Pads): If your soundbar lacks mounting holes, place the soundbar onto the L-shaped holders and apply the provided anti-slip pads to prevent movement.

6. Operating and Adjustments

The WALI SBR206 mount offers flexibility for optimal soundbar positioning.

  • Extension: The mount arms are extendable up to 26 inches, allowing you to adjust the distance between the soundbar and the TV for a perfect fit.
  • Rotation: The bracket features 360-degree rotation points, enabling you to fine-tune the angle and position of your soundbar relative to the TV. Use the knob adjustments to lock the brackets tightly in your desired position.
  • TV Movement Synchronization: When installed with a full-motion TV wall mount, the soundbar mount is designed to move with the TV, ensuring the sound is always directed towards the viewer.

7. Maintenance

  • Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they remain tight and secure. Loose connections can compromise stability.
  • Clean the mount with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents that could damage the finish.
  • Inspect the mount for any signs of wear or damage. If any issues are found, discontinue use and contact customer support.

8. Troubleshooting

  • Mount feels unstable after installation: Double-check that all screws attaching the mount to the TV and the soundbar to the mount are securely tightened. Ensure the soundbar's weight does not exceed the 33 lbs capacity.
  • Soundbar does not fit the L-shaped holders: Verify the soundbar's dimensions against the mount's specifications. If the soundbar has no mounting holes, ensure the anti-slip pads are correctly applied to provide grip.
  • Difficulty understanding installation steps: While the manual provides guidance, the universal nature of the mount may require some adaptation. Review the diagrams carefully and consider different configurations. If issues persist, contact customer support for assistance.
  • Missing or incompatible hardware: The kit includes a variety of hardware for broad compatibility. If specific screws or parts are missing or do not fit your TV/soundbar, contact WALI customer support for replacement parts or guidance.
