4. Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your ASHATA M9 Plus Wireless Display Adapter.

4.1. Initial Connection

1. Connect to Display: Plug the HDMI connector of the M9 Plus dongle into an available HDMI port on your TV, projector, or monitor.
2. Power On: Connect the USB power cable to the dongle's micro-USB port, then plug the USB-A end into a 5V/1A power source. This can be a USB port on your TV or an external USB power adapter (not included).

2. Access Configuration Page: Open a web browser on your connected device and enter the IP address shown on the TV screen (e.g., 192.168.49.1).
3. Select Home WiFi: On the configuration page, select "Internet" or "WiFi Setup". Scan for available WiFi networks and choose your home WiFi network. Enter the password for your home WiFi and click "Connect".
4. Confirm Connection: The M9 Plus will restart and connect to your home WiFi. The TV screen will update to show that the dongle is now connected to your home network. Your device will automatically reconnect to your home WiFi if it was previously connected.

4.3. Screen Mirroring for iOS Devices (AirPlay)

1. Ensure your iOS device (iPhone, iPad) is connected to the same WiFi network as the M9 Plus (your home WiFi, if configured, or directly to the M9 Plus's WiFi).
2. Swipe down from the top-right corner (or up from the bottom for older models) to open the Control Center.
3. Tap on "Screen Mirroring" or "AirPlay Mirroring".
4. Select the M9 Plus device from the list. Your iOS device screen will now be mirrored to the display.

4.4. Screen Mirroring for Android Devices (Miracast/Smart View)

1. Ensure your Android device is connected to the same WiFi network as the M9 Plus (your home WiFi, if configured, or directly to the M9 Plus's WiFi).

1. Ensure your Windows PC is connected to the same WiFi network as the M9 Plus.
2. On your Windows 10/11 PC, press the Windows key + K or go to Settings > System > Display > Multiple displays > Connect to a wireless display.
3. Select the M9 Plus device from the list. Your PC screen will now be mirrored or extended to the display.

• Mirror Mode: The primary function is to duplicate your device's screen onto the display.

• To disconnect, simply turn off the screen mirroring feature on your source device or unplug the M9 Plus from the display.
