What's in the Box

Initial Setup Steps

  1. Install SIM Card: Locate the SIM card slot on the side of the device. Insert your activated 3G/4G LTE SIM card into the designated slot. Ensure it is correctly oriented.
  2. Install Battery: Open the battery compartment cover on the rear of the device. Insert the provided Lithium Polymer battery, ensuring the contacts align. Close the cover securely.
  3. Charge Device: Connect the device to a power source using the appropriate charging cable. Allow the device to fully charge before first use. The charging indicator will show the charging status.
  4. Power On: Press and hold the Power button (located on the side) until the Inrico logo appears on the screen.
  5. Initial Configuration: Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the initial Android setup, including language selection, Wi-Fi connection (if desired), and Google account setup (optional).

Operating Instructions

Push-to-Talk (PTT) Operation

The Inrico S300 functions primarily as a Push-to-Talk (PTT) device over cellular networks. Communication is managed through dedicated PoC applications.

  1. Access PoC Application: From the home screen, tap on the installed PoC application (e.g., Inrico App, Zello).
  2. Select Group/Contact: Within the application, navigate to the desired group or individual contact you wish to communicate with.
  3. Initiate Talk: Press and hold the dedicated PTT button on the side of the device. Speak clearly into the microphone. Release the PTT button when you have finished speaking to listen for a response.
  4. Receive Communication: When another user is transmitting, the device will automatically play their audio.

SOS Function

The S300 includes a dedicated SOS button for emergency situations.

Camera Usage

The device is equipped with front (5MP) and rear (13MP) cameras for capturing images and videos.

Programmable Keys (F1, F2)

The F1 and F2 keys on the side of the device can be customized through the Inrico App or other compatible PoC applications to perform specific functions, such as quick access to contacts, groups, or other features.
