5. Setup and Installation
Proper installation is crucial for optimal performance. This unit is designed for use with a window kit to exhaust hot air outside.
5.1 Positioning the Unit
- Place the unit on a firm, level surface in the desired room.
- Ensure there is at least 30cm of space around the unit for proper airflow.
- Position the unit near a window for exhaust hose installation.
5.2 Installing the Exhaust Hose and Window Kit
- Attach the exhaust hose connector (unit side) to the exhaust outlet on the back of the air conditioner.
- Extend the exhaust hose and attach the exhaust hose connector (window side) to the other end.
- Install the window seal plate(s) into your window opening. Adjust the length to fit snugly.
- Insert the window side exhaust hose connector into the opening of the window seal plate.
- Seal any gaps around the window kit with the provided window seal foam to prevent hot air from re-entering the room.

5.3 Drain Hose Installation (Dehumidifying Mode)
For continuous drainage during dehumidifying mode, connect the drain hose to the continuous drain port on the unit and lead it to a suitable drain or container.
6. Operating Instructions
Your portable air conditioner can be operated using the control panel on the unit or the remote control.

6.1 Control Panel Functions
- Power Button (⌀): Turns the unit on or off.
- Mode Button: Cycles through Cool, Dry, and Fan modes.
- Up/Down Buttons (▲/▼): Adjusts temperature settings or timer duration.
- Fan Speed Button: Selects fan speed (Low, Medium, High).
- Swing Button: Activates or deactivates the automatic louver swing function.
6.2 Remote Control Functions
The remote control provides all functions available on the control panel, plus additional features:
- Timer Button: Sets the auto-on or auto-off timer.
- Sleep Button: Activates sleep mode for quieter operation and gradual temperature adjustment.
- Display Button: Toggles the display light on/off.
6.3 Operating Modes
- Cool Mode: Provides cooling. Set desired temperature using Up/Down buttons.

- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling. Select fan speed.
7. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your unit. Always unplug the unit before performing any maintenance.
7.1 Cleaning the Air Filter
- The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage.
- Remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and allow it to air dry completely before reinserting.
- Do not operate the unit without the air filter.
7.2 Draining Water
The unit has an internal water tank that collects condensed water. When the tank is full, the unit will stop operating and display an error code (e.g., "FL").
- Place a shallow pan or tray under the drain port at the bottom rear of the unit.
- Remove the drain plug to allow water to flow out.
- Once drained, replace the drain plug securely.
- For continuous drainage, connect the provided drain hose as described in Section 5.3.
7.3 Cleaning the Unit Exterior
Wipe the exterior of the unit with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
