1. Introduction

This manual provides detailed instructions for the setup, operation, and maintenance of your Lesipee Digital Alarm Clock. Please read this manual thoroughly before using the product to ensure proper function and longevity.

• SNOOZE/LIGHT Button: Activates snooze during alarm; illuminates backlight for 5 seconds.
• 12/24 Button: Toggles between 12-hour and 24-hour time format.
• MIN/DATE Button: Adjusts minutes or date. Also toggles between °C and °F when in LOCK mode.
• HOUR/MONTH Button: Adjusts hours or month.
• YEAR Button: Adjusts year.
• AL. ON/OFF Switch: Toggles alarm on or off.
• SENSOR ON/OFF Switch: Activates or deactivates the ambient light sensor for automatic backlight.
• MODE Switch (LOCK/AL.SET/DATE SET/TIME SET): Selects the setting mode.
• Battery Compartment: Holds 3 AAA batteries.

5. Setup

5.1 Battery Installation

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the back of the clock.
2. Insert 3 new AAA carbon batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ and -).
3. Close the battery compartment cover securely.

5.2 Setting Time and Date

1. Slide the MODE switch to TIME SET.
2. Press the HOUR/MONTH button to adjust the hour.
3. Press the MIN/DATE button to adjust the minutes.
4. Slide the MODE switch to DATE SET.
5. Press the YEAR button to adjust the year.
6. Press the HOUR/MONTH button to adjust the month.
7. Press the MIN/DATE button to adjust the date.
8. Once time and date are set, slide the MODE switch back to LOCK to save settings.

5.3 Setting 12/24 Hour Format

• In LOCK mode, press the 12/24 button to switch between 12-hour (AM/PM) and 24-hour formats.

5.4 Setting Temperature Unit (°C/°F)

• In LOCK mode, press the MIN/DATE button to toggle the temperature display between Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).

6. Operating Instructions

6.1 Setting the Alarm

1. Slide the MODE switch to AL.SET.
2. Press the HOUR/MONTH button to adjust the alarm hour.
3. Press the MIN/DATE button to adjust the alarm minutes.
4. Once the alarm time is set, slide the MODE switch back to LOCK to save settings.
5. To activate the alarm, slide the AL. ON/OFF switch to AL. ON. An alarm icon will appear on the display.

6.2 Using the Snooze Function

• When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE/LIGHT button on top of the clock.
• The alarm will pause for 5 minutes and then sound again.
• To turn off the alarm completely, slide the AL. ON/OFF switch to AL. OFF.

6.3 Night Light and Backlight Function

• Ambient Light Sensor: Slide the SENSOR ON/OFF switch to ON. The LCD screen will automatically activate a low-light backlight based on the intensity of external light.
• Manual Backlight: Press the SNOOZE/LIGHT button at the top of the alarm clock to illuminate the screen for five seconds.

7. Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Battery Replacement: Replace batteries when the display dims or functions become erratic. Always use new AAA carbon batteries.
• Storage: If storing the clock for an extended period, remove the batteries to prevent leakage.

8. Troubleshooting

• Display is dim or blank: Check battery installation. Replace batteries if necessary.
• Alarm does not sound: Ensure the AL. ON/OFF switch is set to AL. ON. Verify the alarm time is correctly set.
• Incorrect time/date: Follow the instructions in Section 5.2 to reset the time and date. Ensure the MODE switch is returned to LOCK after setting.
• Backlight not working automatically: Ensure the SENSOR ON/OFF switch is set to ON.
