1. Introduction

This user manual provides essential information for the safe and effective use of your GUWIEYG J1772 to GBT EV Charger Adapter. This adapter is designed to facilitate the charging of GBT-compatible electric vehicles, such as BYD models, using J1772 (Type 1) charging stations, wall connectors, and mobile chargers. 2. Safety Information

• Use only with compatible J1772 (Type 1) AC chargers and GBT-compatible electric vehicles. Do not use with CCS1 Superchargers.

The GUWIEYG J1772 to GBT Adapter is designed for simple plug-and-charge operation. No complex setup is required.

Before charging, ensure your electric vehicle is compatible with the GBT charging standard and that your charging station uses the J1772 (Type 1) standard.

5. Operating Instructions

Follow these steps to charge your GBT-compatible electric vehicle using a J1772 charger:

1. Connect the J1772 Charger to the Adapter: Take your J1772 charging cable and firmly insert its connector into the J1772 (Type 1) end of the GUWIEYG adapter. Ensure a secure connection.
2. Plug the Adapter into the GBT EV: Insert the GBT end of the adapter (now connected to the J1772 charger) into your electric vehicle's GBT charging port. Ensure it clicks into place.
3. Initiate Charging: Once both connections are secure, initiate charging from your J1772 charging station or vehicle, as per its instructions. The adapter supports up to 32A charging.
4. Release Plug and Adapter: After charging is complete, follow your vehicle's and charger's instructions to safely stop the charging session and release the adapter and charging cable.
