5. Installation and Wiring

5.1. Wiring Diagram

5.2. Physical Installation

The keypad is designed for wall-mounted installation. Ensure the mounting surface is stable and secure. Use the provided screws and wall plugs for installation.

6. Setup and Programming

6.1. Entering Programming Mode

To configure the keypad, you must first enter programming mode. This allows you to add or remove users, change passwords, and adjust settings.

7. Operation

7.1. Unlocking with RFID Card

To unlock the door using an RFID card, simply present the registered card to the keypad's reader area. A successful read will trigger the lock to open.

7.2. Unlocking with Password

Enter your registered password on the keypad, followed by the '#' key. The lock will disengage if the password is correct.

7.3. Unlocking with Card + Password

For enhanced security, you can configure the system to require both an RFID card and a password. Present the card first, then enter the password followed by '#'.

8. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Wipe the keypad surface with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Regular Checks: Periodically inspect wiring connections for any signs of wear or damage.
  • Software Updates: While this model is standalone, ensure any connected access control board panels are up-to-date if applicable.
