Figure 4.1: Transmitter Connection. This image demonstrates the transmitter connected to a microphone and the receiver connected to an audio mixer, illustrating a typical setup for the Depusheng T9 wireless system.

  3. Connect the Receiver:
    • Plug the receiver directly into an XLR input on your audio mixer, amplifier, or PA system.
    • If your input device uses a 6.35mm jack, use the other provided 6.35mm to XLR adapter plug. Connect the XLR end to the receiver and the 6.35mm end to your input device.
  4. Power On: Press and hold the power button on both the transmitter and receiver until their displays light up.
  5. Frequency Pairing: The units should automatically pair. If they do not, or if you experience interference, you may need to manually adjust the frequency. (Refer to Section 5.2 for frequency adjustment).
  6. Select Voltage Input (Transmitter only):
    • For dynamic microphones, select 0V.
    • For condenser microphones requiring 5V, select 5V.
    • For condenser microphones requiring 48V phantom power, select 48V.

Figure 4.2: Voltage Input Selection. This image illustrates the three selectable voltage input modes (0V, 5V, 48V) on the Depusheng T9 transmitter, corresponding to dynamic microphones, 5V condenser microphones, and 48V phantom-powered condenser microphones, respectively.

  7. Select Audio Gain (Transmitter only): Use the Mic/Line switch to select the appropriate input sensitivity based on your connected device. Choose "Mic" for microphones and "Line" for line-level audio sources (e.g., guitar, keyboard).

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Power On/Off

Press and hold the power button for approximately 2-3 seconds to turn the unit on or off. A short press will not power the unit.

5.2. Adjusting Frequency Channels

The Depusheng T9 system offers 16 adjustable UHF frequency points to minimize interference. To change the frequency:

  1. Ensure both the transmitter and receiver are powered on.
  2. On either the transmitter or receiver, short press the power button (do not hold) to cycle through the available frequencies.
  3. Observe the frequency display. Once you find a clear channel, ensure both units are set to the same frequency. The units should automatically re-pair.

For optimal performance, especially when using multiple wireless systems, select different channels for each pair of transmitter/receiver units.

5.3. Battery Life and Charging

The built-in rechargeable lithium battery provides approximately 3.5-5 hours of operation, depending on usage (e.g., phantom power consumption). Charging time is approximately 3.5 hours. Both units can be charged simultaneously using the dual-head USB charging cable.

6. Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the units. Avoid using liquid cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the units in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Battery Care: For long-term storage, charge the batteries to about 50% every few months to maintain battery health.
  • Handling: Handle the units with care to prevent damage to the connectors and internal components.

7. Troubleshooting

ProblemPossible CauseSolution
No sound output.
  • Units not powered on.
  • Units not paired (different frequencies).
  • Low battery.
  • Incorrect voltage input selected for microphone.
  • Incorrect audio gain (Mic/Line) selected.
  • Cables not connected properly.
  • Ensure both transmitter and receiver are powered on.
  • Short press the power button on both units to cycle frequencies until they match and pair.
  • Charge both units fully.
  • Verify the 48V/5V switch setting matches your microphone type.
  • Adjust the Mic/Line switch according to your input source.
  • Check all cable connections.
Interference or signal dropouts.
  • Operating on a crowded frequency.
  • Distance too far from receiver.
  • Obstructions between transmitter and receiver.
  • Other 2.4G wireless devices causing interference.
  • Change to a different frequency channel (short press power button).
  • Reduce the distance between the transmitter and receiver (maximum 100ft/30m).
  • Ensure a clear line of sight between units.
  • Move away from other wireless devices.
Short battery life.
  • Using 48V phantom power.
  • Battery degradation over time.
  • 48V phantom power consumes more battery; this is normal.
  • Ensure full charge before use. Consider replacing units if battery life significantly degrades after extended use.
