2. Setup
2.1 Initial Installation
The door chime receiver and door sensors are pre-paired at the factory for your convenience. Follow these steps for initial setup:
- Mount the Door Sensor: Choose a door or window where you want to detect opening. Attach the two parts of the sensor to the door/window frame and the moving part (door/window) using the provided adhesive pads or screws. Ensure the distance between the two sensor parts does not exceed 0.4 inches (approximately 1 cm) when the door/window is closed. The small magnet part should align with the marked area on the larger sensor unit.
- Plug in the Receiver: Insert the chime receiver into a standard electrical outlet in a central location within your desired monitoring area.

4. Maintenance
4.1 Battery Replacement (Door Sensor)
The door sensors are powered by an alkaline battery designed for long-lasting use (up to 7200 activations). When the sensor's performance degrades or it stops triggering the chime, it's time to replace the battery.
- Locate the battery compartment on the larger part of the door sensor.
- Slide the battery cover off in the direction indicated by the 'UP' arrow on the back of the sensor.
- Remove the old battery and insert a new battery of the same type (e.g., 23A 12V Alkaline battery), ensuring correct polarity.
- Slide the battery cover back on until it clicks into place.
