2. Important Safety Instructions
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons, including the following:
- Read all instructions before using this heater.
- This heater is hot when in use. To avoid burns, do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Use handles when moving this heater. Keep combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, clothes, and curtains at least 3 feet (0.9 m) from the front of the heater and keep them away from the sides and rear.
- Extreme caution is necessary when any heater is used by or near children or invalids and whenever the heater is left operating and unattended.
- Always unplug heater when not in use.
- Do not operate any heater with a damaged cord or plug or after the heater malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner. Discard heater, or return to authorized service facility for examination and/or repair.
- Do not use outdoors.
- This heater is not intended for use in bathrooms, laundry areas and similar indoor locations. Never locate heater where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.

- To disconnect heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove plug from outlet.
- Do not insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the heater.
- To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
- A heater has hot and arcing or sparking parts inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or flammable liquids are used or stored.
- Use this heater only as described in this manual. Any other use not recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
- Always plug heaters directly into a wall outlet/receptacle. Never use with an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip).
- This heater includes a tip-over safety switch and an overheat protection system. If the heater tips over or overheats, it will automatically shut off.

4. Setup and Assembly
The CAYNEL Oil Filled Radiator Heater typically comes pre-assembled or requires minimal assembly for the casters. Follow these steps:
- Unpacking: Carefully remove the heater from its packaging. Retain packaging for off-season storage.
- Caster Attachment (if required): If the casters are not pre-attached, insert the caster stems into the designated holes on the heater's base. Ensure they are securely locked into place.
- Placement: Place the heater on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is at least 3 feet (0.9 m) of clear space around the heater from walls, furniture, and other combustible materials.
- Power Connection: Plug the power cord directly into a 120V AC, 60Hz grounded wall outlet. Do not use extension cords or power strips.
5. Operating Instructions
Your CAYNEL heater can be operated via the control panel on the unit or the included remote control.

5.4 Setting the Thermostat
- When the heater is ON, use the + or - buttons on the control panel or remote to adjust the desired temperature.
- The temperature can be set from 60°F to 95°F (15°C to 35°C) in 1°F increments.
- The heater will cycle on and off to maintain the set temperature.
5.5 Using the 24-Hour Timer
The timer function allows you to set a specific duration for the heater to operate before automatically turning off, or to schedule when it turns on.
- Press the TIMER button on the control panel or remote.
- Use the + or - buttons to set the desired number of hours (1-24 hours).
- The timer will begin counting down. Once the set time expires, the heater will automatically turn off.
- To cancel the timer, press the TIMER button repeatedly until "00" is displayed, or turn the heater off.

6. Maintenance and Care
