Safety Information

Setup

1. Placement

Place the projector on a stable, flat surface. Ensure there is sufficient space around the projector for ventilation. For optimal viewing, position the projector directly in front of your projection surface (screen or wall).

2. Power Connection

  1. Connect the power adapter to the projector's power input port.
  2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet.

3. Initial Power On

Press the power button on the projector or the remote control to turn on the device. The projector will boot up and display the main interface.

4. Focus and Keystone Adjustment

The L500 features electronic focus and 4-way keystone correction for a clear and properly shaped image.

  • Electronic Focus: Use the dedicated focus buttons on the remote control to adjust the image sharpness until it is clear.
  • 4-Way Keystone: If the projected image appears trapezoidal, use the keystone correction settings in the menu to adjust the horizontal and vertical angles until the image is rectangular.

Operating Instructions

1. Navigation

The AAXA L500 runs on an Android operating system. Use the remote control to navigate through the menus, select applications, and adjust settings. The home screen provides access to installed apps, input sources, and system settings.

2. Connectivity

  • Wi-Fi (2.4G/5G): Go to Settings > Network & Internet > Wi-Fi to connect to your wireless network. This enables online streaming and app downloads.
  • Bluetooth: Access Settings > Connected Devices > Bluetooth to pair with Bluetooth speakers, headphones, or other compatible devices.
  • HDMI/USB/AV: Connect your external devices to the corresponding ports. Select the correct input source from the home screen or input menu.

3. Wireless Mirroring

The L500 supports wireless screen mirroring for both iOS and Android devices, including Samsung Smart View.

  • Ensure your mobile device and the projector are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.
  • Select the "Screen Mirroring" or "Wireless Display" option on the projector's interface.
  • On your iOS device, open Control Center and tap "Screen Mirroring" or "AirPlay Mirroring" and select the projector.
  • On your Android device, look for "Smart View," "Cast," "Wireless Display," or similar options in your settings or quick panel and select the projector.
  • Note: Certain copyrighted content from streaming services may not be mirrored or may have no audio due to digital rights management.

4. Audio Output

The L500 features a powerful 10W speaker for an immersive audio experience. For enhanced sound, you can connect external audio devices:

  • Bluetooth Speakers: Pair via Bluetooth settings for wireless audio.
  • Wired Speakers/Headphones: Connect to the 3.5mm audio output jack.

5. Supported Media

With its Android OS, the L500 supports a wide range of applications and file types:

  • Streaming Apps: Download and install popular streaming applications directly from the onboard App Store (region dependent).
  • Office & PDF Files: View documents and presentations directly from a USB drive using compatible pre-installed or downloadable applications.
  • Multimedia Files: Play various video, audio, and image formats from USB storage.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

The L500 features a fully dust-sealed optical engine, minimizing the need for internal cleaning.

  • Exterior: Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the projector's exterior. For stubborn marks, slightly dampen the cloth with water.
  • Lens: Gently clean the projector lens with a lens cleaning cloth or air blower. Avoid using abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.
  • Ventilation: Periodically check and clear any dust accumulation around the ventilation openings to ensure proper airflow.

2. Storage

When not in use for extended periods, store the projector in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Use the original packaging or a protective case to prevent dust and damage.
