5. Setup
5.1 Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover located on the rear of the radio.

5.2 Charging the Battery

- The display will indicate charging status. A full charge typically takes several hours.
- The radio can be operated while charging.
5.3 Initial Power On
- Press and hold the POWER button to turn on the radio.

6. Operating Instructions
6.1 Band Selection
Press the corresponding band buttons to switch between FM, AM (MW), LW, and SW:
- Press FM/ST. to select the FM band.
- Press MW/LW to cycle between Medium Wave (AM) and Long Wave.
- Press SW to select the Shortwave band.

6.4 Memory Functions
The radio can store up to 650 stations. To store and recall stations:
- Storing a Station: Tune to the desired frequency. Press the M (Memory) button, then use the numeric keypad to select a memory location, and press M again to confirm.
- Recalling a Station: Press the VM (View Memory) button, then use the numeric keypad or tuning knob to select the desired memory location.
- Favourite Button: Press the [FAVOURITE] button for quick access to your most frequently listened-to station.
6.5 Alarm Clock and Sleep Timer
- Alarm Clock: Press the TIMER A or TIMER B button to set an alarm. Use the hour/minute controls to set the alarm time. The radio can wake you up with a radio station or a buzzer.
