4.4 Mounting Instructions
The camera can be wall-mounted. The package includes a solar panel bracket that supports separate installation of the solar panel and the security camera, allowing for optimal sun exposure for the panel while positioning the camera for the best view. Choose a location that provides clear line of sight and good 4G signal strength.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Dual Lens Functionality
The dual lens system provides both a fixed wide-angle view and a pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) view. The wide-angle lens (2.8mm) captures a broad overview, while the PTZ lens (6mm telephoto) allows for dynamic positioning (355° pan & 100° tilt) and closer inspection of specific areas. Both views are accessible simultaneously within the UBOX app.

Figure 5.1: The dual lens system provides both a wide-angle overview and a detailed PTZ view.
5.2 Real-time Screen Linkage
The UBOX app allows for real-time screen linkage, displaying both camera feeds on a single screen. You can tap on the wide-angle view to activate the cooperative function, enabling the PTZ camera to automatically adjust its position to focus on the area of interest.

5.3 Night Vision Modes
The camera supports two night vision modes: IR LED Night Vision for clear black and white images in complete darkness, and Spotlight Colorful Night Vision, which activates built-in spotlights to provide full-color video even at night.

Figure 5.2: Choose between traditional IR night vision or vibrant color night vision with activated spotlights.
5.4 Two-Way Audio
Utilize the two-way audio feature to communicate with individuals near the camera. This is useful for greeting visitors, deterring intruders, or interacting with delivery personnel. Access this function directly from the live view in the UBOX app.

Figure 5.3: Engage in real-time conversations using the camera's two-way audio feature.
5.5 Motion Detection and Alerts
The camera's PIR detection system accurately identifies human figures, reducing false alarms. When motion is detected, the camera can trigger spotlights and sirens, and send instant push notifications or email alerts to your connected device.

Figure 5.4: Advanced person detection minimizes false alerts from non-human movements.
5.6 Storage Options
Video recordings can be stored locally on a TF (microSD) card (up to 128GB, not included) or securely in the cloud. The UBOX app provides easy access to both storage options for reviewing footage.

Figure 5.5: Choose between local TF card storage or convenient cloud storage for your recordings.
5.7 Scheduled Monitoring
Configure specific monitoring schedules within the UBOX app. This allows you to set active surveillance times, optimizing battery life and focusing monitoring on periods of higher activity.

Figure 5.6: Customize monitoring schedules to suit your specific security needs.
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Regularly clean the camera lenses and solar panel with a soft, damp cloth to ensure clear image quality and efficient solar charging. Avoid abrasive cleaners or materials that could scratch the surfaces.
6.2 Weather Resistance (IP66)
The XG06 camera is rated IP66 waterproof, meaning it is protected against dust ingress and powerful water jets. While designed for outdoor use in various weather conditions, avoid submerging the camera in water.

Figure 6.1: The IP66 waterproof rating ensures the camera functions reliably in extreme weather.
6.3 Battery Care
To maximize battery lifespan, ensure the solar panel receives adequate direct sunlight daily. In prolonged periods of low sunlight or heavy usage, the camera may require occasional manual charging via the USB port.
7. Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Camera offline | No 4G signal; SIM card issue; low battery. | Check 4G signal strength at location; ensure SIM card is active and has data; charge battery. |
| Cannot connect to app | Incorrect QR code scan; Bluetooth off; app permissions. | Rescan QR code; enable Bluetooth; grant all necessary app permissions. |
| Poor image quality | Dirty lens; insufficient light; network issues. | Clean lenses; ensure adequate lighting or use night vision; check 4G signal. |
| Battery not charging | Insufficient sunlight; faulty solar panel/cable. | Relocate solar panel to direct sunlight; check cable connections; contact support if issue persists. |
| False motion alerts | PIR sensitivity too high; non-human movement. | Adjust PIR sensitivity in app; ensure person detection is enabled. |
