4. Installation Guide
4.1 Pre-Installation
- Turn off Power: Locate the circuit breaker that supplies power to the light fixture outlet box and turn it OFF. Ensure power is completely disconnected before proceeding.
- Prepare Tools: Gather necessary tools: screwdriver, wire strippers, electrical tape, and safety glasses.
- Unpack: Carefully remove the light fixture and all components from the packaging.
4.2 Mounting the Fixture
- Attach Mounting Bracket: Secure the mounting bracket to the junction box using the provided screws. Ensure it is firmly attached.
- Connect Wires: The fixture includes a unique hanging cord. Use this to temporarily support the light panel while connecting the wires.
- Wiring Connections:
- Connect the black wire from the fixture to the black wire (live) from the junction box using a wire nut.
- Connect the white wire from the fixture to the white wire (neutral) from the junction box using a wire nut.
- Connect the ground wire (green or bare copper) from the fixture to the ground wire from the junction box.
- Tuck Wires: Carefully tuck all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.
